I've bought a replacement chassis for my Sony Ericsson W880i & managed to get the front off but cant remove the back. Is there an easy way to remove the thin circuits without damaging them? Many thanks in advance Michael

What i think you shoud do is take the phone to a professional service center and have them replace it for you to avoid damaging it will trying to change it.

HELP!!!

Replace keypad is easy.

Remove the metallicsticker on the front to expose 2 screws, remove these, remove the two rubber stopper at the top on the back to expose two screws, remove them.

Take the battery cover off and unclip front. Keypad falls out of front housing.

Replace and reverse procedure.

Sorry to say, its almost certtainly a knackered speaker, and you'll need to get is professionally repaired. Is it insured? If so send it back to your provider.

Picture problems

hi,

see the thing is that for receiving and sending pictures from ur mobile via messaging option, for that u need to get ur mms service activated and after that get the mms setings from ur service provider. U need to ensure that tthing also that same mms service & setings should be available at othr end also. After that u will be able to send & receive mms from that particular no.

Best of luck,

How 2 get the frount off the W880i

Hi!

I don't know if the problem is already solved but let me drop a solution. You have to remove (pull out) the two round rubber pieces on the upper side of the BACK cover. Now you can see two torx screws (size T6). remove the two screws from the back cover. Now you have carefully to remove the label on the front side (provider label or orgiginal Sony Ericsson Walkman logo). I would use a knife to lift up the label without damaging it. There are two additional screws underneath you have to remove as well. Now you're done. You can remove the front cover from the phone.

Best Regards
