Question about Computers & Internet

Start up problem

When i turn on my philips freevents 11nb5800 notebook on, after the philips logo then the bar that has windows loading above it, the screen just stays on this and does not start up. i have done the memory diagnostic tool and it says there might be a software or hardware problem.

i have tried putting it into safe mode but it just stays on the screen for hours. i have tried clicking on repair optons but the loading bar just comes up and then stays on this.

If your laptop came with windows 7 then XP will not be covered because it is a older operational system, however there are forums out there that find a way to use XP on a newer machine, yours may be included, but be warned these are untested methods that could freeze your laptop.

Then you should run your computer Anti-Virus to check for them. Also run your disk check in safe mode. Then defragment your laptop if it says it needs it. Hope this helps!?

How old is it? Maybe you could try a phone number?

I checked their website, and it doesn't even look like they sell laptops.

(Though I did find that model mentioned on several different pages).
