Refuses to turn on

I have a sony ericsson w850i and well it refuses to turn on responding only with a flash of red diodes when the on button is pressed, this occurred yesterday as i reached for my phone an realised it had turned off, naturally i thought it perhaps needed to be charged and have left it charging over night to no avail. any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Iam useing sony ericsson w850i for past 1 year.suddenly one day it was switched off if i seem to turn on it is flashing the red light.and now iam not useing that phone any ideas to turn on my phone back.

Hello,

from my own experience and idea, I think that flashing light indicates low battery.

This is usually common with Sony ericsson phone, it flashes a red light once battery is low and you want to power is on.

Maybe should test your phone with another battery.

All the best.

the EROM file on your phone is corrupted that is why it just flashes red and not boot-up, you need to have the EROM reflash for the phone to work again.

Helpppp with my w850i it wont turn on ??

This is generic software problem and it is caused by snaching out battery during on position generally. You have to reflash it with new version of software and u will get a good working phone again. If you find this helpful do not forget to vote me here

that means that you have a software problem on the phone....you need to have the phone's firmware reflash on the phone.....take it to a mobile service center and have it reflash there.
