Better bring your unit to the nearest service center and have it checked.

Circuit board

If the washer doesn't operate or make any noise when set on any cycle, or if it stops suddenly when it should continue onto the next cycle, it may not be receiving electrical power or, if the motor stopped mid-cycle, the machine's overload protector may have tripped. In this case, take out some of the articles to reduce the load and let the protector reset itself, then restart. Otherwise:

1) Be sure it is plugged in and turned on. If necessary, check the receptacle it's plugged into for power, using a working lamp, appliance, or voltage tester. Be sure the washer lid is closed completely.

2) If the receptacle seems dead, check the circuit breaker or fuse that serves that circuit.
3) Unplug the washer and check the power cord. If necessary, replace the cord.

4) Open the lid and check the lid switch and the tab on the lid that it pushes against. Press and release the switch: if it doesn't click when you do this, it's probably broken. If you're experienced at home repair, you can remove the switch, test it, and replace it if needed; otherwise, call an appliance repair service person.

5) If the washer still doesn't work, the controls may be faulty. Call a service person.

Good Luck

I am not familiar with a combo set but my guess is wiring. A fuseable link, ground, sensor or similar. Is they a spare electric cord you can safely try and use. Try by passing the power cord to see if it is the issue Mount it securely so no person will have to hold or be exposed to electric currents and that the cord doesn't ground on any surfaces it is not suppressed to. Or it's just a bad power board.

You will need to check the continuity of the main line wire which goes to the main switch and then to the SMPS. in most cases one of the POLES of the switch can fail If so replace the switch after checking the continuity with a multimeter. If power goes to the main board then the fuse can be open and so the SMPS could have failed. Also check for dry solder joints in the main board. Take precaution with HT circuits.

Canon Pixma Mp810 won't turn on, any suggestions

I had the same problem. Everything was working fine one day, but when I tried to switch it on the next day, nothing! The status light came on green briefly but then turned off. I thought the power module might be blown so I ordered a new one, that changed nothing, my printer was still completely dead, showing no sign of working at all.
I dismantled it to inspect every component for signs of failure, everything looked like new. Having read that the print heads can fail (dry out then blow) on canon printers, I tried starting the printer without the printhead and hey presto, it turned on and went through it's startup cycle. After making whirring sounds for a while a message popped up telling me that there was no printhead installed. As soon as I reinserted the printhead the printer turned off and wouldn't turn on again, even if I removed the printhead again (and unplugged/waited etc). I had to unplug and then re-plug a connector on the printer's motherboard to get back to the stage when the printer would turn on (without the printhead).
I have inspected the printhead with high powered magnification and found nothing unusual - a new printhead is about $100! My final conclusion is that there is nothing actually "wrong" with the printer but rather that it is a case of programmed obsolescence. My printer is about 5 years old (like new) and in the service manual that is the prescribed lifetime for the printer, so it's designed to simple stop working after that time.
PS. I did do the ink well reset procedure, didn't help.

Plug it in, it does NOTHING. It worked fine

Make sure the forward reverse switch is pushed fully one way or the other. If it has a 2 speed selector switch check to make sure it is fully one way or the other. If neither of those are your problem check it at another outlet that you know is good. Inspect the power cord for a break. If none of these things are the problem then you will have to take it apart to see what the problem is. It may very well be the switch. Use a multimeter set to ohms to check the switch. It should show an open circuit with no reading until you push the switch and then you should get a reading. At the switch check to make sure you have 120 volts coming in.

you definitely have a short somewhere, my first impression would be a safety switch (covers) or the FUSER or scanner assy ( if has one) both of which use high ac voltages for the lamps

HP LaserJet 4

1-the switch is bad, or not engaging properly
2-the power board is bad/ bad transformer
3-bad socket

get a portable lamp plug in socket and wiggle totest connection, if it stays on the socket is good otherwise call electrician.
leave printer on for a few minutes does it come on by itself witout you getting jiggy with it? bad board

if not the switch is most likely the problem
