TI-83 no power

I'd say not, you've done your due dilligence. From there I'd say it is a problem in the CPU. Good Luck

My calculator was left outside in the rain and doesn't turn on. I'm not exactly sure what's wrong with it specifically. It just doesn't operate.

The CPU of your calculator most likely got wet and rusted up the parts. If not, the screen may have gotten water damage. Either way, it will no longer work and you will have to buy a new one.

Coffee was spilled on the calculator. How can it be fixed?

I am not sure if you will depends on how much water coffee reached the motherboard inside. Sometimes you can open them up with a screwdriver and let it air out for 24hrs and then try. If after 24hrs it doesn't come back on you might have to get another one. It truely depends on if anything shortened out.

Was using the computer and it just shut off and will not come back on. Other things plugged into the power strip is still working ,so not the power strip

Check the fuse in the plug (if it has one).

Check any fuse around the power supply.

If replacing any blown fuse results in immediate blowing of the replacement, take the computer to a repair man.

My Casio fx-300ES won't power on.

2 causes for this kind of problem:

1. lose battery contacts
2. poor connection on its components on the motherboard. (needs to resoldered)

TI-84 plus DEAD

There is a chance there is a battery leakage and the contact is spoilt. That's what I'm facing now as well

My ti-83 has a weird display problem. I updated os versiyon but still it has got weird display. what can I do?

There maybe electrical shorts connecting the two motherboards, logic part and screen display part, or within the screen display part, causing the weird display when the calculator appears otherwise functional. Open the TI 83+ case following the U Of Washington posting on fixing TI 83+ problem on inability to communicate with TI link cable between calculator and computer. I used the plastic tools in an IPod battery replacement set to open the TI 83+ case as plastic tools will cause less damage to the TI case. Under the aluminun foil are the two motherboards, each a work of beauty. Good work TI. Connecting the two motherboards is a adhesive enbedded connectors sheet. Above that adhesive connector sheet was a different adhesive connectors sheet in the screen display part, which in my case, some of connectors were exposed. I wiped that adhesive connector sheet and the weird display disappeared with calculator functioning. I may buy some heat resistant clear adhesive tape to put over the exposed connectors part for insulation if problem occurs again. The above may or may not be helpful.
