Question about Televison & Video
The power-supply board needs to be serviced or replaced, the noise you hear is one of the switching transformers arcing contently. This could be from a cold solder joint along the AC input connections or a faulty switching regulator. This shouldn't cost much to repair at your local shop, or maybe you can do it yourself if so I'll walk you through what too do. Its important that your technically proficient to do it yourself otherwise have a professional do it for you.
