Don't spend lots of money buying blue tooth headsets Go to your local Walmart and purchase the Emerson Blue Tooth headset it comes with 2 ear loops that are made of a flexible plastic and 6 inner ear buds for a very snugged fit. The ear loops will also fit your LG blue tooth headset. You can also purchase the headset by following this link http://www.walmart.com/ip/Wireless-Gear-Bluetooth-2.0-Headset/15852098
first thing make sure your blue tooth is fully charge and on. Then go into menu go to setting find blue tooth setting go in there make sure your phone is set on enable blue tooth then turn on searching then it should pull all the blue tooth signals that are around the phone then just select the bluetooth device
To pair the headset with your phone:
Turn on the headset. Then turn on bluetooth in your phone and search for bluetooth device.
When your headset is detected, just select it and follow onscreen instructions to pair it with your phone.
1) Make sure the earset is charged fully overnite. 2) Turn on your bluetooth function in Phone. 3) Turn on your earset and keep pressed for about 10 or longer seconds until it becomes solid blue and not any blinking versions. This is the pairing mode. 4) Go to the blue tooth menu in phone and try to discover this ear piece. 5) Enter 0000 as passscode and the phone should get paired up. 6) If it says successfully paired , then go ahead to configure how to turn on blue tooth and automatically configure // trust // and connect to the Logitech bluetooth earset. 7) Now enjoy this ..
Beware ; When the ear peice in your pocket or hangbag, if the buttons get pressed in a way it dials out the last number called , then un-intentionally all you conversation you thought might be private or sensitive in nature will be heard by the the person answering your phone , or worse even it goes to their voice mail,, all your scoop is recorded by the modern phone voice mails...
So Be care full and save some embrassment or OOPS , got me with pants down moment...
As the headset is repeatedly charged, the pins on the charger starts to not reach the blue tooth ear piece to charge. I clean the dust around the edges on the contact area and was able to get it to charge
The 500A base station is definitely compatible with the 510 earpiece. If the earpiece is turned off or unpaired the base station's red power light will be flashing. If the earpiece is already off, try turning it on by holding down the little black button on top. The base station will automatically try to find the earpiece and the blue light on top of the base will come on. If the earpiece is already on (slow flashing blue light on the mic boom) turn it off and back on again and wait for the base to find it.
