SOURCE: no water flow in gooseneck faucet

Sounds like the diverter part (insode the faucet) is clogged or broken.

How do I get more water pressure from my american standard shower set

Hi Fran:
Most shower faucets now are equipped with flow restrictors. It is possible with some units to remove the flow restrictor plate from the shower nozzle. It has to be dis-assembled to do that.
Regarding the lack of hot water, that would usually be a different problem and will be related to the hot water source.
Hope this helps.

Installed a new faucet and no water comes out

Since your question is so vague (is it a shower, tub/shower, lavatory, kit. sink or laundry tub faucet) I'd have to say that the flow restrictor in the aerators or showerhead is clogged up. Just unscrew and remove and either clean aerator or sh.head out and/or remove flow restrictor permanently. If that doesn't work turn off water and disconnect supply tubes from faucet and run them into a bucket and turn water back on to check for volume. If you have plenty of water at supplies then remove faucet and take defective faucet back to where it was bought and get another one!

I just installed a new Shelton Pfister pull out kitchen faucet that whistles when turned on. How do I remove the flow restrictor?

I don't think it is the flow restrictor. I am guessing your water pressure is on too high. That would cause the whistling.

Remove flow restrictor on KWC Faucet

We have a KWC 10.501.012.000 - Systema kitchen faucet and after installation the water pressure was much lower, even after adjusting the faucet's limiter screw to "minimum". We ultimately decided that the reduced flow was unusable and called back the plumber service. They sent out a different guy this time and he knew where to find and how to remove another of the faucet's built-in limiters (it has three, apparently).

I saved the removed water limiter parts. I hope this picture of them can you or anyone else with this same problem remove the limiter and get strong flowing water again...

Just had K-10433 installed. Would like to increase flow. Is there a removeable restrictor?

Yes there is a water saver disk in the aerator. It is a small disk about 1/2" diameter with a very small hole in the center.
When you take the aerator apart pay attention to the parts order so they are put back in the same order minus the water saver disk.

My water pressure is very low from the original install is there a way to adjust the faucet to allow a better pressure flow

Your issue could be caused by the water restrictor in the shower head. To know for sure, remove the shower head and then turn the water on.

Very tough water restrictions have manufacturers using plastic water restrictors in the shower heads.

Although you are not supose to, some shower heads can be taken apart to modify, or remove the restrictor.

I hope this helps you.

I want more water pressure/volume from my sigmatherm shower faucet. Is there an ''inside the wall'' volume adjustment?

If you are looking for more flow from your showerhead, remove the showerhead and check the following.

1. Check for debris inside the connection nut.
2. See if you can locate a flow restrictor inside the connection nut. There are a few different types, but most can be removed with little effort.
3. If your showerhead has small rubber nozzles on the face, rub them with your finger while the water is flowing. This will loosen and wash away any sediment that may be present in them.

This picture shows one type of restrictor that is used in showerheads.

Blanco purus II poor water pressure

If the pressure is the same for both hot and cold. Then most of the time it could be just a blocked Screen/Aerator. Unscrew it and see if the pressure has improved. If so the replace it! Lowe's or Home Depot have them.
