Question about Technics Audio Players & Recorders

1 Answer

I have a Technics Model No: RS-HD350 which is four separates, however I no longer want to connect the casette player, however the four separates are connected together at the back with thick connector which has to be connected in order B1, B2 etc and the cable is not long enough for me just to connect the three separates I would ideally like (minus casette) I'm therefore looking for help and advice firstly if I can take one of the separates away and if so, where can I obtain a longer cable to connect the three separates. your help is appreciated. thanks

Please don't cut a cable, You won't be able to repair it. There must be a way to lose the cable without cutting. I forgot, but I will search around. When I find something I'll come back on this.

Malcolm hi! The tape decks are normally interchangeable as a unit and if you have a remote control that also operate your Hi Fi then you are stuck to the model.

Power to technics rs-t24 dual deck

I own a RS-T24 as well and stumbled upon this thread while searching for this exact same solution. The RS-T24 generates no power on its own. It gets its power from, in my case, the SU-V75 amplifier. I still have a working SU-V75 and got the following readings out of the plug-in for the RS-T24 on the amp:

Left = pin 1 - (white wire)
Middle = pin 2
Right = pin 3

1-2 = 11.5 vac
1-3 = 23.0 vac
2-3 = 11.5 vac

Technics SL-HD350 Cd Player - Sound problems

This maybe due to overheating of some Sort.
Try taking it out of where it is where theres a good flow of air.
Then try running a cd.
Try Putting in a Cleaning cd, this maybe a fault with the laser.
