SOURCE: atp3 wont power up why?
There is an internal fuse in the Altec Lansing Speakers ..BUT BE CERTAIN TO DISCONNECT THE POWER LEAD BEFORE MAKING THE FOLLOWING REPAIR.AS IT CAN BE DEADLY!!!
If you remove the larger screws from the back of the unit then remove the top section with the circuit board attached. Next remove the screws attached to the bass speaker as you will need to remove the speaker to replace the fuse.
Once the speaker screws are removed there is a little recessed slot in the timber for you to put two fingers in to lift the speaker out. It may offer a little resistence as there is a dab of glue holding the cables into the cabinet next to the speaker.
Once you have the speaker removed double check that you have disconnected the correct power lead to your ATP3.. The fuse is easily visible so pull it out and check with meters to see that it has not blown.
Alternatively take a 9 volt battery ( the type with both terminals at the top of the battery). Place your tongue over both terminals to verify it has a charge (you will feel a slight tingle on your . tongue).
Next place one end of the removed fuse on one of the terminals.. now short curcuit the other end with your tongue touching both the unconnected end of the fuse to the other unconnected terminal ... this should complete a circuit and give you a slight tingle.. ( it wont hurt you!) If there is no tingle the battery is either flat or you have a blown fuse.
If the fuse is OK, then chances are you have a faulty pin connector - your "right out" connector. Sometimes these get bumbed with the feet if you have it on the floor and they can lose the contact needed to switch your unit on.
You then need to either re-solder the pin out socket on the circuit board or repair the cable that plugs into it.
If someone has worked out how to solder a jumper lead on the board at the pinouts you may be able to have the power on permanently and then use the wall switch to turn it off and on.

Wash the dishes by hand and view them again 1 hour later. If the dishes are still cloudy it's too late you have been running in hard water for years and etched the dishes. Salt only regenerates the Xeolite beads inside the DW. They collect minerals until they can no longer hold more, then the DW washes the minerals off the beads with the salt. Check if the DW is set correctly to the appropriate water hardness of your town. READ THE OWNERS MANUAL. PS> 1. You can't use regular salt. 2. Is the salt dry? Salt must be added into water so it creates solution (brine).

You've done the basics, so we'll treat it as a fault due to wear.
When running, do you hear the spray arms rotating - about twice a second?
If the water is actually reaching the dishes, bur the arms are not rotating, you may need replacement spray arms.
If the water is not even reaching the dishes with any force, The circulation pump may be faulty and needs replacement.
Hope this helps you.

If you brought your car to Honda for service, they probably forgot to reset the maintenance reminder. If you took it to another shop, they probably did not know how to reset it. Anyway, the reset procedure is:
Put your key in the ignition
Turn the key to the II position for a couple of seconds
Then turn the key to the off position
Now push and hold in the odometer reset button
While still holding the odometer reset button, turn the key back to the II position
Hold for I think 10 seconds or so and your maintenance reminder light should reset it self.

SOURCE: My check engine light comes
i am buying a 1989 buick lesabre for $800 and just put $400 down yesterday and $400 next week too and i was driving the guy home to his ranch.he is a teacher i had last year and i gave him a ride back to his ranch and then i drove home.no problems there.i got home and was leaving to go show the car to my sister-in-law and i was at the bottom of my drive way and the car just dies.my dad gets it started and puts the car in drive and the car died again in the middle of the road which wae live on a busy road so i pushed it into the stores parking lot.he got it to start again and drove it to the gas station by our house and filled it up.then it started reight up and ran decent.well, lately,i had it checked out, found out that the front brake line has started to crack and that the brake pads are starting to wear down.the car has 119,685 miles or somewhere around that.the check engine light has been coming on and the car still runs though but then after a little while, the light for the check engine soon light goes off and the car remains to run.i was wondering on what could cause this to happen.thanks.
