Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but you cannot increase the memory card capacity in your camera. 1gb was the largest anticipated by Kodak when your camera was designed, and it is the largest that your camera will accept.

The Lowrance 3500C has a 1 GB capability. Does that mean I must purchase a 1 GB SD card for it? Can't find anything smaller than a 2 GB SD card, but will a 2 GB card cause problems?

No, this means the internal memory size is 1 GB. If this unit accepts SD cards, you can increase the map capacity. 2GB SD cards should work properly in the unit.

Kodak EasyShare CD33 Digital Camera i need sd size for it

You should be able to use any SD card, up to 2GB in size, in the CD33. Be aware that cards larger than 2GB are actually SDHC cards and will not work in the CD33.

When I insert 2GB Kodak Memory Card in EasyShare CD33 camera the red light comes on, says card is full? What can I do?

Look at the manual of your camera or visit their website. Find the compatible size of memory for your camera. Maybe a 1 gig is the maximum external compatible on it.

Can I use a 2g memory card with my kodak cd33 camera?

Hello,

The Kodak website says that you can use a 2GB card in your CD33.
Make sure it is a standard card and not SDHC as these are not suitable for the CD33.

Hope this helps.

I lost the usb cable for my camera and am trying to remove images from the internal sd card. how can i do this?

For your USB
> Contact kodak store at 1 888 369 6600 ask for KODAK USB Cable, Model U-8 or simply log on to www.kodak.com/go/shop.

To remove images from the internal memory of the camera
1. Turn the Mode dial to Favorites
2. Press the Menu button
3. Highlight delete or the minus icon, then press the OK button.
All pictures stored in the Favorites section of internal memory are removed.
4. Press the Menu button to exit the menu

** Kodak CD33 has 16 MB internal memory and it has a slot for MEMORY CARD 3428db8.jpginternal memory is different to memory card. You can use the camera without memory card but it's only up to 16MB while if your using s memory card you can load up to SD Memory Card 2 GB.
16MB if camera is set to 2MP it will only take about 2-5 photos while if your using a Memory card with a size of 1GB and camera is set to 2MP about 1137 photos.

Trying to install memory card did format and

Although you haven't stated the make, model and capacity of your memory card the information in your question suggests that you have used the wrong memory card.

The CD33 is compatible with SD memory cards but not with the later SDHC models (the HC means High Capacity). They'll fit into the camera just fine as they have the same shape as an SD card, but the CD33 chipset is incompatible at the basic hardware level and cannot format SDHC cards.

To complicate matters further, the original SD specification allowed up to a maximum 2GB, and this was later extended to 4GB but hardly any SD devices can use the 4GB cards without a firmware update. No firmware update was ever released to allow your camera to use 4GB SD cards. Your camera was also designed before 2GB SD cards were available so whilst it may be compatible in theory it was never tested with them.

I'd recommend that you stick to 1GB maximum SD cards unless you use a Kodak branded 2GB version: Kodak's website claims that your camera should work with their own brand card of that capacity, so if it doesn't you can claim on their warranty for a refund or maybe an exchange for two 1GB cards.

If all this is incorrect and you're using a regular SD card of no larger than 1GB then you either have a faulty card or a faulty camera. The only way to find out will be to try a new 1GB SD card from a major brand name. If the camera proves to be faulty then it's beyond economic repair as labour costs for diagnosing the fault alone will exceed the camera value.

I hope this reply has been of assistance and ask in return only that you rate my answer.

Need more mp

Hello,
My son has the same camera with a 1 gigabyte Sandisk sd card. This allows him to store about 200 pictures at full resolution. The cards are very inexpensive. Here is a link to a 1gb card that is $8.28 on Amazon.com: http://www.amazon.com/SanDisk-Secure-Digital-SDSDB-1024-Package/dp/B000I5ZC3W/ref=pd_bbs_2?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1210104172&sr=8-2
If you plan to take small movies I would get a 2 gig card. Videos use much more memory. This one is $11.88 from Amazon"

Costco also has great prices on SD memory.
Important:
Your camera will not accept cards larger than 2 gigabytes.
If that helped please rate me well.
Take Care,
-WN
