My HP LaserJet P2055dn just writes initializing and doesn't print. If i restart it just makes some boot up noice and then writes initializing on the LCD

I had the same problem. The source of this problem, the USB printer port is broken, then I use network configuretion. The poblem is solve.

This is a problem with the RAM module you will need to replace it.

That is a job by it self. If you don't want to damage your printer, I'd suggest you take it to an HP dealer pay some money and get it first checked and if so be the case that it has to change, let them change it.

If your printer is getting a 49.xxxxx error after powering on, it has major problems, and a repair shop visit is in order.

The error in itself is a "critical firmware error"

"The ghosting is caused by the fuser assembly...." This may not necessarily be the case. I had the exact same ghosting problem on a Laserjet P2055dn and replacing the fuser did not make any difference. $165 down the drain. Still looking for a solution.
