SOURCE: need codes for toshiba tv

You will find the codes you need here : http://www.mykameleon.com/support.html#rs

If the exact code is not listed for your model then you must do the code search. This sometimes takes a while because you have to search through every possible code! Goodluck!!

I purchased a GE Universal remote and I do not know the code to set up for MV20FM4. Please help.

HelloHello
You haven't given the model number of GE remote you have purchased. Yet I hereby give you some universal remote codes for Toshiba TV/VCR combo. Try with these. If you fails to synchronise with; inform me the model number of your GE Universal remote:
Four digit codes for Toshiba TV/VCR combo are: 0260 0358
Three digit codes for Toshiba are: 013/ 049/ 089/ 105/ 109/ 117/ 118/ 120/ 159/ 178
Direct Code Entry
  1. Press and hold the SETUP button until the red indicator stays on, then release the SETUP button.
  2. Press and release the desired Mode button (TV, VCR, etc.). The red indicator blinks, then stays lit.
  3. Enter the 4 digit code from the code tables. Note: after a valid code entry, the red indicator turns off. For an invalid code, the red indicator flashes.
  4. With your device on, press CHANNEL UP. If the device responds, no further programming is required. Note: If some buttons do not operate your device, try one of the other codes for your brand.
Code Search If after trying "Direct Code Entry" your device does not respond, or if your brand is not listed, try doing a search of the code library for your code by following these steps.
  1. Manually turn on the device (TV, VCR, etc.) to be controlled.
  2. Press and hold the SETUP button until the red indicator stays on, then release the SETUP button.
  3. Press and release the desired Mode button (TV, VCR, etc.). The red indicator blinks once, then stays on.
  4. Press the CHANNEL UP button repeatedly (up to 300 times) until the device to be controlled changes channel. The red indicator blinks, then stays lit.
  5. Press and release MUTE to install the code. The indicator light goes off.
Most users will want to store VCR codes under the VCR button, Cable codes under CBL, etc. If you want to store a VCR code under CBL, etc., first follow the procedure for Direct Code Entry and press CBL in step 2 of Direct Code Entry, then enter ANY VCR code in step 3 of Direct Code Entry. Then follow the steps above for Code Search.
OK. Thanks for using Fixya.
