Question about Bugaboo Cameleon - Tailored Fabric Standard Stroller

Sun shade / mosquito net doesnt stay attached!

Where do I attach the little elastic loops on the sun shade (same prob with mosquito net)? If I fasten them on the little hooks inside the carry handle it leaves a gap which make sun shade slack (and leave mosquito net partially open.)The little "hooked" things just under the canopy isnt big enough to hold it..Also with the sun shade, when I peek in the stroller by the hood I have to lift a piece of shade to be able to see..and then the whole shade just jumps off! Is it me missing some thing obvious or is it "just" really stupid constructions? I really need them to work properly since we live in GA and both the sun and the gnats are intense...

You should be able to have the canopy elastic on at the same time as the sunshade elastic. I have done this and it works marvelously.

Hello trollmor:

These are great questions. The mosquito net elastic loops are going to be fastened around the hooks under the canopy. In order for it to work properly, the elastic hooks that hold the canopy in place need to be removed and the elastic loops for the mosquito net and sun shade will take their place. The elastic should hold both shades in place properly.

If this does not work, please feel free to email me at strollerinfo@gmail.com.

Sincerely,

How do i attach the wind shield onto my quinny buzz 3

Hi

The windstoppers zip onto the sun canopy of the Quinny Buzz pre-2010 model.

The post-2010 model Quinny Buzz is not compatible with the windstoppers or mosquito net.

BUGABOO CAMELEON Elastic loops on tailored hood fabric have snapped. I had them attached to the hood frame at the bottom part of the attachment. This was the only obvious place. Was this right?

There are two shallow hooks on the round part that swivels where you adjust the hooks. Sounds like you had them in the right place. I had the elastic loops on an older model that just stretched out of shape and were useless so bought some new black elastic, unpicked the old ones on the hood carefully and sewed in the new loops. If you are a sewer then you will find it very easy and straight forward to do. Good luck.

I purchased a used older Zooper Buddy stroller. Sun cover???

Do you mean Boogie? All the Zooper Boogies I've ever seen were originally sold with them, however if you have an older model, spare parts are harder to come by.

Phill and Ted pram hood hard to put back in place

Hi,
I have the same problem with a Phil and Ted's Sport - but I believe I have the solution as below. This is taken straight from the Instruction Manual which you can view at: http://www.arango-design.com/Phil-Teds-Sport-Buggy-p/7890-0001.htm - towards bottom of page is a link to the instruction manual - which I was unable to get on the Phil and Teds website. Got this today but haven't tried it yet. Hope this helps.
Really becomes clear when you see the pictures in the instruction manual.
Regards, John
Hood
The sport hood is packed disconnected.
To reconnect:
1. Locate sun hood and hold it facing down, as shown ‘a’.
2. Insert crimped wire ends into frame, through eyelets, ‘b’.
3. Lay hood back (to top of buggy).
4. Locate red coloured pocket at top of fabric seat and insert rear hood wires into each side, ‘c’ and ‘d’.
5.Open hood and attach domes, at bottom of hood, to main seat, ‘e’.
6. Pull eyelet at top of hood over pegs on each side of frame, ‘f’
Note that the windows in the hood are lined with a sun mesh of
a lower shade factor than buggy fabric. Always use sun cream
and clothing for protection of children in direct sunlight.

Hi, my sun shade is sagging where the logo section is. i have tried all ways to fix this and even looked at other ones instore. i seem to have placed this on correctly however it still wont sit firmly....

Hi,

This sounds like you have your sun canopy clamps on the wrong way around. Simply swap them over and the hood should function normally.

Hope this helps.

I'm having problems attaching the breezy sun canopy, it seems to be slack (not taute and smooth looking) and falls down. What am I doing wrong? I've tred it several ways...it's so simple yet I cannot get...

Unfortunately that is how the breezy sun canopy's are. For that reason I avoid them, and the fleece. The canvas canopy's tend to sit a lot more straight and firm without drooping down onto baby's head.

Converting to a buggy/ user manual

Under the foot **** there is a bunch of fabric. Take that out pull it over the top of the bar and snap to the side. One the Top there is a piece that is tucked behind the back of the seat at the top. unfold that and snap each side to the side of the stroller where the sun shade is. Then snap the sun shade the outside of those snaps.
