The problem can be related to drivers or firmware, let's get
the driver of the wireless card up to date
access this website then choose your operating system afterwards
select driver network then apply the wireless driver
i hope it helps you resolve your problem

SOURCE: can not get wireless connection on asus notebook

Hi,

Try resetting the network adapter.

On the bottom right hand side of the desktop you will see the wireless icon, right click on that ans click on troubleshoot problems. This will reset the adapter and assign an IP address for your your PC.

When its done try to connect to the internet.

If this advice does not help please post back.

Good luck.

Ensure that the wireless network adapter is enabled. You can get there from My Network Places ' Properties or the control panel. If it is enabled, you should have an icon in the systray for the wireless adapter. Right click on the icon and select View Wireless Networks to select a wireless network to connect to.

Need my USB sprint card to connect with my wireless G router

Well - you are mixing up two different kind of wireless networks.
Your sprint card connects to the same network a cell phone connects to (EV-DO technology), while your local network at home uses a different technology (802.11).
What you need in order to connect to your Linksys router is a USB adapter like this.

Keep losing wireless network on laptop. completely disappears and can not find it to reconnect

Hi..
I was having the same issue with my notebook. I was losing connectivity to the internet at both home and office through my browsers and outlook consistantly after boot up for approximately 10 minutes. The only way to get more connectivity was to reboot my machine (ten more minutes). Emachines help desk was no help. Their fix all response was to format the harddrive and start over. What I did to fix it was:

Start
Control Panel
Network Connections
There, I disabled the wireless network connection and waited for the hourglass to go away. Then reenabled it and have had wireless connectivity since.

Good Luck ;-)

Wireless router dropping then disappeared

If other wireless hosts are connecting to the wireless router with no problem, and the windows laptop intermittently connects, then this seems to indicate a problem with the wireless card in your windows laptop. If the device is still under warranty, it should not be a problem to contact the laptop vendor and have it replaced.
