There is no problem using metalic utensils in a microwave oven AS LONG AS IT IS ONLY ON CONVECTION as it is only a standard oven cavity in that mode.
I make cakes in my Panasonic Invertor and get excellent results as one can see what is going on!

Enjoy your cooking.

I would keep the items in. Usually, oil is sprayed on which can cover anything that is in oven at that production step. Won't hurt anything one way or the other.

Hi, I have a NN-C784MF microwave oven from panasonic which is inverter based. The two diodes # ux-c2b are blown. I replaced them they blew again. Please help. Regards.. Anwar.

Chances are there are other bad parts blowing the diodes, most likely a MOSFET.

Also, the ESR of the electrolytic capacitors should be checked and all board connections must be checked and resoldered if suspect.

If you're not experienced in troubleshooting switched-mode power supplies (inverters) then you can probably save a lot of timer and money by replacing the whole inverter.

You can find the nearest spare parts supplier by selecting your country then the support links at Panasonic.net.

We're happy to help you with free advice and we'd appreciate your thoughtful rating of our answer.
