Question about Sony DVP-FX810 Portable DVD Player
Your disks maybe dirty and needs to be rince in hot water from your faucet, Then block the water drop away with paper tower, then try your dvd player again. Try music cd firat, in case you have condensation in your circuits which needs to be driven off by heat from running music..

I have this same problem with my Sony fx930. It just won't play some discs. And I'm talking Region 1, store-bought, brand new discs without a flaw. It is some flaw with my player that has developed after the first year of play. Seems to happen more oftern with TV show discs that have multiple episodes. VERY annoying and there is no good source of help or information. All you get is dumb advice like "Clean your discs" or "some dvds go bad." Bull--it's not the discs, it is obviously a design flaw in the software or hardware in Sony portable dvd players. I'll never buy one from Sony again.
