Incompatibility with Sylvania TV (by 2 users)

There are two codes that work with my TV, yet neither of them gives full functionaltiy... I can't use the input key. Is there any way that I can hack this thing? Any quick fix to just let me use that one key?

I have a sylvania tv as well, and i can't switch between tv and game mode, as the input button doesnt work
