You can try this site:

This MAY be very close to your system... there are several parts to the schematic in this compressed file...

OFTEN companies do NOT re-engineer things so one has to use intution as to what the model number thisng might be listed...

You often find modules are identical between units even though the model is labelled differentely.

My Mackie HD1531 has a high pitched whistling sound, all other speakers work fine with the same power connection and desk connection. It whistles regardless of whether it has a sound input or not.

Sounds like a problem with the horn amp in that cabinet. This is not a user fixable problem and needs to go to the shop. Here is a link to the Mackie support page where you can find a link to the repair shop list.

Problem with the Mackie SRM 450 v2

It would be very unusual if the blue LED is burned out. They should last a million years. I suspect the power supply has a problem.

I touched my speaker and felt a static electric shock, the unit powered down, although it powers up, I hear the cooling fan but no sound or front power LED now. what happened and how do I fix it?

Did you have this speaker AND the device that drives it connected to the same power source? If run by a mixer you MUST run a power extension from the same place your powered speakers are powered to the mixer. Ground bounce due to wiring in a building can destroy input circuits due to ground faults and static discharges. ALWAYS use balanced lines either XLR or TRS cables to interconnect the audio.

Also verify your power receptacle is properly wired. Carry one of those plugs with the indicators showing receptacle is wired correctly. Don't plug anything in until you verify it. Some venues are noted as having bad electical service.

Let your speaker sit for a minute and repower it... sometimes they have a lockout that takes time to reset.

My HD1531 powers up (LED is on), fan does not come on and there is no sound. I switched the power section with the other one that is working and is worked. This sucks when your playing live music and you...

The fact that it failed suggests that there was either a manufacturing problem, or that you smoiked it. In most cases that I have seen, a defective component inside caused the problem. While this is rare, it does happen. Return the unit for warranty repair. These units are very rugged and I would not typically expect failure at this early stage. Anything you do to this will void the warranty, so please just return it for repair/replacement.

Can you please further explain what your problem is? I can guess, but I'd rather not. I suspect that the internal amp is faulty. If you can describe the exact problem, I shoul dbe able to propose a few solutions.
