Both are expensive, How long have you had it can be a major dicision also do you have any irriplacable files or programs. your most likely choice would be to have it repaired this is cheaper than replacing it and IF it is still under warranty it could be free to fix also you will not lose any of your important files pictures, movies, music or whatever else is on it.
