SOURCE: continuous power supply

get a volt meter or a test light and check which wires from the car are constant 12v and which are switched with the ignition. I think that usually the red is constant 12v and yellow is switched. You might want to try switching the two and see if that helps.

If you have the original remote control, you can use this website to decode the passcode for you. They charge a small fee however.

This is the best I can do for you. I don't see any free manuals on line. In fact, I am hard pressed to find this anywhere else. (Vintage Manuals in Indiana appears closed, although you see web references to it.)

Unable to tune in to programmes on LW, MW and SW bands. FM working fine

Hi,
If you are experiencing bad or NONE AM (MW) reception ,if your receiver has an external antenna connection point here is the solution... It should also have a ground connection as it is rare such a point does not accompany an external antenna connection.
The problem with MW reception is the vast frequency range of the MW band as" 540-1760kHz "
means nighttime fade out, and even heavy static and distortion..( less than SW )
in order to receive a station on LW and MW bands you need to have a "Loop Antenna " that normally supplied by manufacturer..if you cant locate it ,you can buy it in any electronic store..it is a very cheap accessory..additionally both LW and MW works good in daytime with powerful radio stations in your vicinity ..espacially LW..not much stations on these days..except in Europa..MW works better and more stations come after sunset ..
SW band is a little bit different.if you really want to listen SW in depth ,and if your receiver has multiple SW bands as well ,you then need special SW antenna to be attached to your receiver..otherwise it is not worth to listen it due to heavy static and distortion on the band..,unless you want it..just for testing and to see what is available in your area pls attack a plain wire (about 1 meter ) to ext antenna plug and try to search it..if you desire to learn shortwave -Listen To The World please visit the URL below.

Hope this helps!..if more help requires pls let me know.
Take care and please

Dear sirs, I have just received a service manual for a unit your company produced quite a number of years ago. Unfortunately however,I have been advised by several repair shops here in the US that...

Sorry I tried and searched the web for anything i could about this product. All I could find is current or a little older models. nothing that even resembles what your looking for. My only suggestion would be if you live in a large city put an add for one in the want adds.
Ive tried to even find a website where you could post like a want add to buy from someone thier old Panasonic fm/lw/mw/sw radio stereo cassette recorder, model no.RX-5150LS so you could part it out but no luck on that either.

Sorry I was unable to help you.
An other suggestion is just to take out the parts they say are bad, take it to a electronic part store and see if they have anything that's similar,
or just see what they come up with or show u.

I’m attaching a wiring diagram which hopefully isreadable. I’ll also list the “where to”instructions for all of the other wires. It’simportant that several wiring steps be done in a particular order.

About the Memory Wire:

The memory wire is Yellow and should be connected to the +12 V power terminal (which isenergized at all times). First besure to connect the black ground (earth) lead to a metal surface of the car.

Important…
>>Before making connections, turn the stereo unit and carignition off to avoid short circuits.
>>Connect the yellow and red power input leads onlyafter all other leads have been connected.
>>The power antenna (aerial) control lead (blue)supplies +12 V DC when you turn on the tuner.

Hope this helps. Lemme know if you have more questions or would like me to email you acopy of the owner’s manual.

Thanks, and take care.

Gail :-)

Radio not working

Have you made sure your power source has power?
Next check your inline fuse if it has one.
Make sure you do have a good ground.
If none of these solutions work you most likely have a bad system.
