To reset the bios password the cmos must be re-set, start by removing power lead, then remove pc cover, to earth the tower touch bare metal on case to discharge static elec, or you could buy a static stap, then remove the cmos battery, looks about the size of a ten cent piece, then get small screw driver and touch the neg and pos together for at least 4 seconds( I got about 7 to be sure, then replace battery and reconnect power and reboot, you should be greeted with a message saying configuration is incorrect, hit delete key (usually) to enter the cmos setup, there you will have to reset the date and time, then the boot order you wish to start with, set all this and save and exit, all should be good, the password is wiped when you reset the cmos
