Dispays End Of Tape/Eject symbol

Unit displays End Of Tape / Eject Tape symbols in yellow only when in Camera mode. If I put unit into Player mode I can put any tape in and all functions operate normally. However as soon as I flip it to Camera mode I hear three quick beeps and this message comes up. I have a copy of the service maual and went into diagnostic mode. It has never had any other problems and the diagnostic has no error codes in it's history log. I have tried many tapes and I don't know why it stopped working. I keep the unit in a foam lined Pelican 1400 case with moisture absorbing beads and all to protect my equipment. It has never been dropped dinged or scratched. It looks like new and is only about 4 years old. display in yellow eject
