- My SONY HDR-HC1 frequently will not allow me to load a tape. It flashes moisture problem wait 1 hour!I found you could defeat it by taking the battery off and waiting a minute then put the battery back on. Sometimes it takes two or three tries but that is one or two minutes versus waiting an hour!
I think it is a bogus moisture error but with real moisture problems you can use a hair dryer!!!
