Yes go to the Acer website and download and install the latest camera driver, for your aspire one, reinstall them again, and it should all come back..
Or you could do a system restore... at boot time press F8, when the Safe Mode menu shows, select safe mode and when you get the choice chose Restore mu PC to another time, then when presented with the choice of times, simply choose a time before when you KNOW it was A OK, and proceed after it reboots you should find your PC back to exactly how it was at that time you chose good as new.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Is there anyway to recover photos from epsilon 1.3 after accidentally deleting all my really old pics after finding camera years after thinking it was lost???

Chances of recovery can be high as long as the photos are not written over, also keep the camera memory card in good shape (no physical damage).

Then you can rely on a digital camera data recovery software to get the job done and retrieve your photos.

You'll need to connect the camera (mass memory card) to your computer. Then install the program to start scan & recover your files.

Since you say that you accidentally deleted something, my money would be on the drivers. Does it work with external speakers?

Sounds like you have corrupted or possibly deleted a Fine Pix Viewer driver software file.

Suggest you uninstall and reinstall Fine Pix Viewer.

Before you start you might want to create a backup folder on your C drive and put copies of all your photo files therein. Make sure your camera is not connected to your PC before reinstalling software.

Assuming Windows operating system click : Start, Settings, Control Panel, Add or Remove Software, then scroll to Fine Pix applications. You will probably have three to choose from. Since you don't know where the problem lies suggest you start with Fine Pix Viewer which will probably have a version such as 5.5 (in my computer anyway). Having highlighted this file click on the uninstall button.

Now reinstall from your Fine Pix CD.

Suggest you reboot so new software will recognise your camera when it is connected. With camera connected Windows will probably advise that there is new hardware and it is seeking software. Give it time and Viewer should boot up on your screen.

Photos being stored on memory cards....

what mode were you shooting on? that has happened to my friend before but he said something about a SLR card reader that 'retrieves' lost back-up.

however the question remains: did you accidently switch it off or was it just a malfunction ^-^
