Need gap specifications

The gap between the flywheel and magneto (pick-up coil) is not that critical, if your engine is not running right or won't start. 2 to 3 mm is fine. The key point is that the gap be uniform in the arc where the fly wheel passes it. Please post your symptoms and we can better assist you on the forum. If you are not getting any spark from the plug wire... check this at night by unplugging the plug boot and pulling the cord and watching; if you can't detect a spark... then you have a magneto issue or a bad spark plug wire. A little crokus cloth to rub the rust off the entire flywheel edge surface will help. Don't sand down or apply solvents to the magneto surface even if it's rusty!

Doesn't pick up[ paper

Possible that the intake detect or the pick in rollers are not aligned properly . You need to check the opto-couplers and the roller settings.Remove and check with a paper to see the uniformity of the gap between the rollers.

My Sony Ericssion T700 mobile, restarts automatically and also some time it shows Insert SIM, Why so?

There can be a losse connecction on the SIM detect contacts, just remove and clean with a paper and reinsert. Also remove and clean the battery terminals. If you find therer is a gap in the battery terminal to the contacts, then use a thin paperr to push the battery to stay well in contact.
If not open the cell main board clean and reset.

Does not detect gap

Firstly with the printer turned on, press and hold the feed switch until the light flashes 4 times. Release the button when you see the 4 flashes and the printer will reset to factory defaults and calibrate. If this doesn't work you will have a Gap/Blackline sensor failed, this will need to be replaced.

My printer won't caliberate using a 1.25 inch circular label. The label stock is white, the backing is an opaque whiteish with black lines between each...HELPPPPP

Zebra printers use 2 methods to sense the gap between labels. Transmissive or Reflective. Your labels have a black mark on the backing. Your printer uses these black marks to detect the gap between your labels. Ensure that your printer's mode is set to REFLECTIVE & check that your printer driver media also is set to BLACK MARK. Print a config label to look at your printer settings.

Ice in freezer bottom

2 things:-1)Freezer door does not close completely, leving a gap allowing outside air to come in and te humidity causes water to freeze at the bottom of the freezer. This would explainwhy is forming over 2 days.
2)If your fidge has a ice maker in the freezer and a cold water dispemser, the both these compartments water flow for the ice &for dispenser are controlled by a solenoid valve, which in turn uses a sensor to detect the quantity of water in the ice maker trays and switces off the wster supply appropriately. If the sensor in the icemaker fails to detect the right quantity, overflows very slowly so as to appear to be noticeable..............sdeep

My printer is giving a 5001 alarm

Dear customer,

The 5001 error indicates that the printer is unable to detect the gap or notch in the media. The error should be acknowledged by pressing the ONLINE key.
Several different sorts of problems may cause this error to occur. Following is a short list of things to consider:
  • 1. Incorrect material type inserted in the machine.
  • 2. Incorrect sensor type selected. Check settings on both the printer itself and in the software and/or driver that is being used.
  • 3. Incorrect positioning of the paper sensor on the material. Examine the paper path to make sure that the material is actually passing through the sensor and that the gap or notch is visible to it.
  • 4. Material jammed up at the platen roller.
  • 5. Dirt on the photoelectric sensor.
  • 6. Failure of the photoelectric sensor

Printing die cut labels on Zebra Z4Mplus?

Set the printer to transmissivefrom reflective gap sensing.

This will cause the printer to loog for the inter-label gap to tell it where the top of the label is at.
