Question about Toshiba Satellite L655S5065 156 Notebook PC H
It is good that you want to follow "best practices", namely to "flatten-and-rebuild" any virus-infected computer.
When you start your computer, is there an option to invoke a "recovery" mode of operation?
If so, select that mode, and begin the "system-recovery".
Or, did you get a set of "System Restore" CD/DVD disks from Toshiba, when you bought your computer? If not, is there a program on your computer that will "burn" some CD/DVD-recordable disks, to create a set of "System Restore" disks ?
If you have those disks, insert the first disk into your CD/DVD drive, and restart your computer.
Choose an option to boot from the CD/DVD drive, rather than the "normal" booting from your 'C:' drive.
