You can check your video card or memory card if it is placed correctly. or else, try to remove the cards and clean the pins with an eraser so that corrosion will be removed. then gently place the cards into the slots and try to press them quite hard for them to establish good contact with the boards slot. start your pc and see what happens.

ASUS P5N-E SLI motherboard gives 10-15 sec bleeps at 0135 each morning. This sudenly started to ocure 4 nights ago.

Motherboards have a "timed-wake-up" option.
You can enter BIOS SETUP, and configure the computer to wake-up at a specified time, e.g., 01:35, on specific days, e.g., "daily".

Restart your computer.
Enter BIOS SETUP
Set the computer's clock to 01:30.
Save the setting
Exit from BIOS SETUP.
Turn the computer off.
Wait 5 minutes, until the computer's clock advances from 01:30 to 01:35, and watch what happens.

Drivers for p5n-e sli motherboard

You can download the drivers here:

http://support.asus.com/download/download.aspx?SLanguage=en-us

In the upper left hand corner of the screen, type in the model number of the board (P5N-E SLI) and use the drop down to select a category (probably "All"). Good luck.

I need a installation manual

Hi there Samurai2,

Please click here to go to the official download site of Asus for the P5N-E SLI model.

http://usa.asus.com/product.aspx?P_ID=KyHOsOKWujC2QguJ&content=download

From the site, select your OS and it will show you the list of download resources for the board. Click to expand the MANUAL and look for the English version.

Hope this helps.

Can a p5n-e sli handle a single 9800gtx? I

Yes as long as the 9800gtx is PCI Express x16. I am assuming the p5n-e is the Asus MB. Since I couldn't find any other Manufacturer using that MB#

P5N-SLI

HI stukove2000,
What is the 5200 stand for?
Here is Asus approved CPU list link for the P5N-E SLI MB:
http://support.asus.com/cpusupport/cpusupport.aspx?SLanguage=en-us&model=P5N-E%20SLI

The Corsair TWIN2X2048-6400 5-5-5-15, should work just fine on the Asus MB.
Here is an expanded approved Qualified Venders List from Asus.
http://www.asus.com/999/download/products/1474/1474_10.pdf
You can also see a smaller QVL list in the manual on page 1-18 & 1-19.
The QVL insures total compatibility with the motherboard.

The NVIDIA GeForce 9600 GT will run just fine on the Asus MB. Just make sure your power supply is no less than 500W. A 600W or 650W is preferred.

Asus FAQ's of the P5N-E SLI. Good place to check questions about the board.
