Question about Compaq Keyboard
Our keyboard on the Compaq R4000 is not working at all, the mousepad works fine, but we can't type anything at all, none of the keys work. Can you please help?
My first solution for you would be, press the key Fn at the bottom left side of the keyboard and and the key on the top right hand side called ""num lik"" or ""scroll"". First hold the FN key down and then press only do not hold the num lik key.
Please tell me if you need a better explanation because I think I did not explained myself very clear.

Hi! Thank you for getting back to me! The orange light next to the mouse pad is on, but nothing else. We can't get any further than the login page, we click on the name, but we can't type in the password to log in at all. I can re-start the computer because the mousepad works, but I can't even press the F10 button when it restarts. I wonder if the keypad can get locked...

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
