How do I reinstall the trigger controls in the handle grip?

Kent, do a web search by entering your make and model of the chainsaw. Pick a parts supplier and select the trigger group. You will be able to find a picture of the parts. Print it out, go to your garage and put the parts back together like they appear in the
picture. In the future, as you disassemble anything, take pictures of whatever using your cell camera and then your will be able to "remember" how to put it back together. The low tech way is to make sketches on paper, noting wire colors, orientation of parts, etc. as you take your stuff apart.

Brushes won't spin anymore

There is a spring that goes on an arm, #32 in the picture. It actuates the turbine so the brushes will turn when the handle is tilted back, and stopped when upright. This might be where that spring goes. You may have to take the top cover off to put in on. After you get it on, and the brushes still don't turn, look up in the square hole where the shaft on the brush block goes into, turn the unit on and see if it is turning, if not then the turbine either needs to be taken apart and cleaned or replaced. The turbine is what drives the brushes.

My throttle continues to stick. The motor races and it sounds like the engine is about to explode because of its speed. I opened up the handle and the spring seems out of place. When I squeeze the trigger...

You should see some small wear marks inside the handle where the spring is supposed to rest. Also, check the throttle cable where it exits the plastic engine housing and goes to the throttle plate on the carburetor. Make sure it is connected correctly and not binding on anything on the way to the carburetor. There really aren't any diagrams or pictures available on the net of the insides of a Ryobi weed-trimmer's throttle trigger and spring.
When you squeeze the trigger the steel cable should move, the cable housing should NOT. If you look closely, you will maybe see how it works and all goes together. It is not that complicated.

Trigger is not put together right

need more info. if the actual trigger that you press with your finger came out then it attactes back to the handle guard. there should be a screw on the back of the handle were you hold it. if you take this off the handle guard should come off. inside of this you should see two half moon clips inside that the trigger snaps into.
