Question about Waterway 5HP Executive 56 Frame Spa Pump PF502N22C

1 Answer

Waterway Model PF-50-2n22C Spa Pump/Motor: My spa motor started making more noise than usual. There is plenty of flow so I'm thinking the pump is fine. There is a burning smell. I took the covers off and the motor/bearing end is very hot. When I go to high speed, the noise is much worse. It seemed to trip on overload but when I turned off the hot tub and turned it back on, the motor started again. Anyway, are the bearings easily replaceable or do I want to get a new motor/pump.

Hi,
Is there a coverplate where the wires come out of the pump? If so, remove the plate and there should be a wiring diagram inside.
