There might be several reasons for the performance to go down. Three main things which usually contributes to your PC performance is Size of the RAM larger it is faster it will be. Processor speed more it is shows better performance finally free space on the hard drive (Very Important) it can be compared to a person carry 10 pounds can run faster than person carrying 100 pounds. Less the free space worst the performance.

Having said that i would suggest you to follow some steps suggested in the link below,

I hope it helps....good luck

Many of these only came with 4 gigabytes of RAM memory. You need more with Windows 8 and 8.1. You can get another 4 gig of DDR3 Memory and put it in the open memory socket next to the 4 gig you have.

control panel-add and remove program(check if you got more then one antiwires on the computer, if yes then remove it)
%temp% in run window, delet all temp files from it
(if any pop up comes in while deleting it..just press skip)
remove unwanted program or games or anything which you know but dont use it any more from the computer(add and remove program)
try your connection in windows browser(try www.google.com inside the run window and see if its any faster, if it is then could be you browser, reset would help)

MY COMPUTOR RUN TO SLOW

Someone suggested to me to increase the voltage. Higher voltage means more power. In your residence the only items with higher voltage are the stove and the water heater. Try powering your computer there.

Computor slow to start

adding more ram will help a computer start stime (boot up) If you're not sure if a module is right for your system, use the Crucial Memory Advisor tool for a list of guaranteed compatible modules
or you might uninstall or set the programs that are starting at boot up time

when your computer is running right click in the bottom toolbar select task manager processes you will see whats running also in processes you will see whats ticking over

if you see something running that should not be select end now you might uninstall that particular program
you might have a virus slowing your boot time

hope it helps

Replaced coolant temp sensor like diagnostic code said too didnt help none.it runs ok going down hiway but when i slow down or come to a stop it stalls out wont idle on its own.

There a 2 coolant temp sensors. One for the guage and the other for the computor. You need to replace the one for the computor. With a faulty coolant temp sensor for the computor, it doesn't recognize a cold start to cycle. You know when the engine idles higher when you first start it up in moring then the idle drops as the motor warms up.

Computor very slow

Good morning caterer,
Well, that's a pretty general question. It could be hardware, software or virus issues that we are dealing with.
If you can give a little more detail an answer a few questions, chances are that we can find a fix for you!
Is it slow all of the time, or only during the use of certain applications?
What are you using for an anti-virus program and how often do you run it?
Do you have a mal-ware program on your system?
Have you done any housecleaning on your fixed disk? (Removal of old files, defrag, cleaned the registry and such)
If you can please answer these questions and tell what you observe while it's running, that will give us a starting place. Will be waiting to hear back from you.
