Question about Video Game Consoles & Games
Welcome to Fixya.
NSIS error means that the installer failed a self check. The installer has been altered from it's original form. It is either corrupt or damaged. A virus may have caused this or the installer itself is damaged.
What to do?
Run your anti virus program.
Try to read files from the other parts of the media. Click on my computer, click the installer DVD. See if you can see or read other files without error. If you see an error, then there is a problem with the media.
As a last resort, the installer can be executed even though it's corrupted. To bypass the corruption test, pass /NCRC on the command line. To do so, go to Start->Run, type cmd and hit Enter. A black console window should open. Drag the installer into the window, hit Space and type /NCRC. Hit Enter again and the installer should start.
If the above fails, you need to contact the store where you bought this to get a replacement.
Let me know if you need further assistance.
Thank you for using Fixya!
