What would be the consequences of bypassing the corruption test? Also, I got this game through amazon.com, so I can't get another one from the store.

Welcome to Fixya.

NSIS error means that the installer failed a self check. The installer has been altered from it's original form. It is either corrupt or damaged. A virus may have caused this or the installer itself is damaged.

What to do?

Run your anti virus program.

Try to read files from the other parts of the media. Click on my computer, click the installer DVD. See if you can see or read other files without error. If you see an error, then there is a problem with the media.

As a last resort, the installer can be executed even though it's corrupted. To bypass the corruption test, pass /NCRC on the command line. To do so, go to Start->Run, type cmd and hit Enter. A black console window should open. Drag the installer into the window, hit Space and type /NCRC. Hit Enter again and the installer should start.

If the above fails, you need to contact the store where you bought this to get a replacement.

Let me know if you need further assistance.

Thank you for using Fixya!

There is no affect actually in bypassing the corruption but you might end up getting the same thing. Try to create a folder to your desktop and copy the whole content of disk and run the setup file. if you will be getting the same problem then this is a file issue. You can request a replacement of the game disc.

Your download was incomplete or the file was altered. I'd try downloading and installing the file again.

Installing a Hampton Bay Trieste ceiling fan, and I don't know where to locate the remote receiver. It doesn't seem to fit in the canopy or the fan base. It is rectangle shaped about the size

If it's a thin rectangular receiver (probably has UC7067 printed on it) It "slides" into the mounting bracket up by the electrical box. If this doesn't help you can call toll free 1-866-600-3267 at http://www.fanmanlighting.com/default.asp and ask for Jack Jr

NSIS Error

It is an installer error. If this was a downloaded installation try to download it again. If the installation is from removable media the disc you are using may be damaged. Try running disc cleanup or a similiar program before installing again. Have you checked for viruses?

I have prloblem with nsis error

The installer has failed a self-check. This means that for some actions, the installer file has been altered from its original form. If the install were to continue, the software install would not be complete and will be broken. To prevent further problems, the installer refused to continue.
If you are receiving this problem from an installer located on a disc or other media besides the Internet, then the problem may be due to a hardware failure or more likely the physical media being damaged. Try reading files from other parts of the media. If you are receiving read errors with other files on the disc, then the problem is likely due to damaged media. You will need to contact the source of the physical media for a replacement.
As a last resort, the installer can be executed even though it's corrupted. To bypass the corruption test, pass /NCRC on the command line. To do so, go to Start->Run, type cmd and hit Enter. A black console window should open. Drag the installer into the window, hitSpace and type /NCRC. Hit Enter again and the installer should start. This is not recommended!
NSIS Installer/Uninstaller will raise this error whenever you will launch the installer/uninstaller from an forbidden location (such as C:\, C:\Windows, C:\Program Files, etc).

Final Cut Studio Install disc Scratched

I think your out of luck from a legitimate standpoint. If you wanted to go the pirate route you could download a copy from the Web. You would need three items. 1) you would download a Torrent client and install. 2) You would need a torrent file. 3) You would Google the following words "Final Cut Pro or Final Cut Studio 2." Once you have your Google results then you would click on a link and DL your torrent file. Use the torrent client to open your torrent file and start DL'ing.
