How solve in my POLYCOM VSX 6000 showing error "unsupported signal adjust your PC output"

Try using the S-Video output and then try using the VGA output from the VSX 6000 unit. The unit can be fixed to output from either as the first monitor output (you may have the dual monitor option enabled). If this does not work the resolution of the TV might be HD, the output of your VSX 6000 is Standard Definition. You will need a monitor that accepts standard definition. If this does not work, I would reboot your VSX 6000 and try again. David

I have a Jensen (JE1909ACB) 19 LCD TV Can't get it to hook up as a monitor on my desktop. It reply's unsupported mode.

Are you using the VGA port on the Jensen TV? What is your computer's OS?

The usual reason for the unsupported mode message is that the the computer did not recognize the TV as a monitor on boot up or that the previous settings were incompatible with the TV. (For example, if you previously had a CRT connected to the computer and used a refresh rate of 75 Hz, the TV can't handle the refresh rate. It needs to be set at 60 Hz.)

First turn off both the TV and the computer. Then turn on the TV and set it for the PC input (assuming you are using the VGA port). Next turn on the computer. If you have Windows XP or later, it should find the TV and set the resolution without any input. (If it doesn't, use a different monitor and set the resolution to 1366 x 768 and 60 Hz. Then try again.) If you used the HDMI port, try the VGA port. This TV doesn't understand a computer signal over the HDMI port (only set top boxes).

I hope this helps.

Nikon d80 won't turn off. Stayed on after viewing slide show on TV. Operates properly with switch in "off" or "on" position. Tried:1. removing battery. it restarts with switch...

It may be as simple as a broken or worn out on/off switch. If the switch shorts out, the camera will always be on or always be off. The problem could also be the switching circuitry. If you need service, you should call Nikon's Service Department at 1-800-NIKON-US (1-800-645-6687)9AM-8PM EST, Monday to Friday.

I want to use Trutech 19" tv as computer monitor. Scrreen starts to set up and then get error message "Unsupported Mode." Is their a simple fix for this?

Hello Fayeburns,

Yes, there is a simple fix for it.

The reason why your TV is showing Unsupported Mode is because of the display resolution of your

graphics card, which is higher than what the TV can handle.
What you can try is, when your system is powered up, just go to your display settings, then

reduce the systems display resolution to--preferably 800x600 or 1024x768, then go to where you

normally select the output, and select 'Output to external monitor"...this should send the signal

input to the monitor.

In case it still doesn't work, just try and update your graphics card driver to the latest one and try

the same process again.
Most Laptop graphics display resolution are generally very powerful as compared to what the TVs

can handle.
Try this out and let me know how it goes.

Hope this helps.
Goodluck and thank you for using Fixya!

Message of Unsupported video signal after attaching laptop to TV.

it sounds like the resolution the laptop is trying to send is not one of the resolutions that the television can display. TVs can display a range of resolutions, so try changing the laptop resolution, either increasing it (make the pixels smaller) or lower the resolution, try a variety of resolutions, one should work.

WHATS THE HACKING CODE FOR MY JVC XV-N322 DVD PLAYER

Try this link: http://www.videohelp.com/dvdhacks/jvc-xv-n322s/5424#30023
1. When "REGION CODE ERROR" shows on screen after you've input your wrong-region DVD you push "ON SCREEN".

2. When the DVD-menu is showing push "ON SCREEN" again and another DVD-menu will appear.

3. Move the arrow over to the clock and press enter. The menu asks for "TIME" and you write 0:00:00 and push enter.

4. You will now see the menu for the movie. Remove the DVD-menu by pushing "ON SCREEN" once. You can now watch the movie.

JVC DVD player problem

You have set the DVD to progressive output for your big tv. The little one will not accept this. Your manual will tell you how to reset it. The remote may be needed. Reconnect it to the big tv and check the menus.
