Question about Whirlpool Estate TAWS750PQ 27-Inch Washer
Will go thru the wash cycle but when it gets to the spin cycle where the water is supposed to go out it starts then it stops whirlpool is it worth fixing it's 6 years old?
For the cheapest solution, Un plug your washer. The tilt your washer forward and tilt the top back (about 45 degrees) until the top will stay balanced against the wall. As you look underneath the part closest to the front bottom it your pump. Imediately behind it is you motor. On the right hand side of your motor look at where the wires plug in. Have and of the wires come out of the plug or gotten burned? (there may be more than one plug down there for your motor) BE VERY CAUTIOUS. The black tube with the 2 red wires is your capacitor. If you touch an exposed area where the wires plug in it can give you a potentially fatal shock. So keep your hands clear of this or beter yet, use a screwdriver to short the two contacts together (make sure your hands are on the plastic handle only), thereby discharging your capacitor and rendering it no longer dangerous (until you plug it into the wall again). If all of these wires appear normal (plugged in and not burned) You would probably be looking at a bad motor.
