Hi,

If you are having problems with your gas dryer not heating the most common problem is that the ignitor goes bad. Even though it glows sometimes it is still not working properly.

If you have an electric dryer, you can have many different things that can go wrong causing the dryer not to heat.

Heater is working but noheat


sounds like a stuck thermostat or you have air in the system that needs to be bled out one each of these go hand and hand so if your thermostat is bad and you change it after you finish you have to bleed out the air from the system

Heat does not come on


To get proper heat, keep your temp setting at +5 degree than your temp and also mode in "heat "position. If still noheat, check your heating sensor for closed circuit by an OHMs metre.It it'swith RV, check power to RV.Ifit's with heating element check power to element. If power is there but stillno heat means element defective. Replace new heating element. Thanks.

We hooked up the dryer but it won't come on, no lights, no beeps, nothing. please help. our


here is a website, I think it may be the thermal fuse, quickest way to tell, do not run dryer like this as it will start a fire, as a test is to unplug dryer and tape the two wires together and then start dryer if it starts then disconnect the wires and replace fuse:

I get a dirty gas smell on my clothes. It smell like burn diesel fuel. I also notices that the flame turn off , then come back on in a few minutes, is this normal, or do i have to hot of frame?


You most likely have a weak, malfunctioning igniter. you can remove the lower panel and watch the ignition procedure. Here is a website that has more details that will help, Tim:
