Hi and welcome to FixYa!

The great thing about the newer computers, including Toshiba, is that they usually have a hidden factory restore setting that you can do manually without disks or recovery CD's anymore!

You can go with the disc if you like, but they are not an absolute necessity.

First thing is first. You will lose all data on the computer, so please back up your files and pics. They will not be able to be recovered after this process is done.

Turn off your computer by holding down power button for 10 seconds.
Press and hold zero key and press your power button one time.
(do not let go of zero key)
If done correctly, you will hear a series of beeping. When you hear this, release the zero key.
You will be asked with a warning screen if you wish to continue. Select yes.
Select recovery for factory default and hit next.
Then select recover out of state box.
Then, select next.
You will continue on, click next and this should start recovery!

You may have to try a couple of times. The first time you attempt this, it may be tricky, but you will be a pro in no time! Please rate this solution if it was helpful to you!

Thank you for choosing FixYa for your computer needs today!

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

Abusript instalation could not open registry

It wasn't started with administrative rights. If this is in windows 7, 8, or 10, right click and run the installer with administrative rights. If the program still can't access the registry, it is likely that a registry file it requires is locked down by a security program (anti-virus, anti-rootkit, anti-spyware, anti-adware, anti-malware). Try disabling these programs before installing.

Tip

Dual Boot Xp & windows 7

First you have to create partition. You need at least two partition. One in which you intall Xp and other for win 7. WARNIG BACK UP YOUR DATA BEFORE THIS.*(You can create partion by any hard drive manager you can make a hard drive partition in control panel>administrative tool>create & manage hard drive partition)
Now install xp first in one partition. If you have pre installed then avoid this step.
Now install Win 7 in another partition.
After you restart the machine will ask to chose your os. & just select the required OS.

If any problem appears then just put win XP disk & repair it.

You cant install win Xp after windows 7.
You have to format win 7 before installing Xp.
Commiting any of trick or Tweak you need to backup your data in another HD partition

Enable the Wireless Zero Configuration service so it starts up automatically, go to the Start button. Select the Settings option and then select Control Panel. If you are using the Windows XP view, select the Performance and Maintenance category and then select Administrative Tools. If you are using the Classic View, then select Administrative Tools. Click the Services icon in the left pane. Click the Wireless Zero Configuration icon in the right pane and change the Startup Type dropbox to Automatic. Internet connection very slow in normal mode but fast in safe mode on win xp pro

I wouldn't think that your router is the problem. Perhaps there is a virus or malware that starts when you boot normally that is eating up your connection. I would advise that you download and run Malware bytes to see if you can get rid of any possible infections.

As long as it is a genuine key, you will need to use the support options to call them and have it activated over the phone.
