Question about Sylvania LC320SLX 32 in. LCD TV
I recently repaired this exact TV that had a similar problem. First take the back cover off and check all the electrolitic capacitors on all the boards to see if they are bulging or leaking (if so replace them). If they all look good you can unplug everything from the Inverter board. The inverter board has the pink and white wire plugs going into it. Then try to power on the TV and if the green light comes on, and stays on, then you know the problem is in the inverter board. My problem was in the inverter and I found Q1500 (N Channel MOSFET) shorted Gate, Drain, and Source together. You can check that with an ohm meter. Just for safe measure I also replaced Q1550 and it is the same exact part as Q1500. Here's the link to the part so you can order it:
