How to disassemble Samsung Galaxy Rush?

DO NOT use your microwave, no matter WHO tries to convince you to do that.

It can be dried, thoroughly, but it\'ll take a lot of time... and it may not work after it\'s dried out.

Buy a big bag of uncooked dried rice, five pounds or more. Make a slit in the side of the bag, slide your phone into the bag through the slit, and work it into about the middle of the rice in there. Tape the slit shut and put the bag someplace where you\'ll remember the phone is in there. Sharpies make excellent marks on rice bags, by the way.

Now go away for one to two weeks. Live an unplugged life, disconnected from that satellite leash. Learn to talk with real people again, real people with real faces and real voices, people you don\'t have to hold clamped against your cheek to confirm they\'re there. Read a book, play a board game with someone, sit on the front porch and smile at strangers. The ones without phones, I mean. The ones with phones will never notice you - you don\'t exist, you\'re not inside their phone.

After a week or two, open your rice bag again, take out your phone. It\'ll be as dry as it\'s going to get, dryer than it was before it fell in the toilet. The dried rice will have drawn every little bit of moisture right out of it.

Or leave it there, if you like. I\'ll bet you enjoyed life more without it.

Dropped phone down the toilet

Always open a wet phone up, take out the battery and submerge both in rice. it will absorb the moisture and give you the best chance of survival of your phone.

I dropped my samung pixon in the toilet but i think all the water is out but it doesnt turn on

DO NOT try to turn it on and DO NOT use a hari dryer (it'll push moisture into unreachable places) Put your phone in a bag of rice and leave it there for a day or 2 (rice absorbs moisture) Try turning it on again... If this doesnt work , nothing will !
Please leave me a rating if I've helped you :)

I dropped my lg dare in the toilet. it was on and i couldn't take the battery out. that was last night and now i finally managed to take the battery out so it's out drying in the sun. what should i do for...

To get the *best* chance of having your phone (especially a touch screen) to work after being submerged in water, you need PATIENCE.

Generally, the phone doesnt die when it first goes in the water. It usually dies when the user tries to start the phone too soon, before it's dried out.

The fastest drying method i've seen is to get a small tupperware (sealable) container, and completely submerge the phone in white dry rice. Seal the container, separate the battery, take off the cover, and get as much exposure to the rice as you can.

The rice keeps the air dry inside the container, and will pull moisture out of the phone faster than air drying. Leave it there for at least 2 days. At least 2. Hope that helps!

PS - You will *probably* need a new battery, generally batteries are damaged by even a small amount of moisture. You might as well buy a new battery.

Yes Rogers is most likely right as that does sound very much like water damage. There isnt much you can do as water damage repair involves expensive equipment. Your best bet is to send it off for repair. If you google cell phone repair there will be many eager merchants to help you. Also fixya does provide a vast directory of repair specialists found here.

good luck :)

I dropped it down the toilet now it just wont work.

There is a possibility of it working again but water damage does alot of damaging things to phones. The best solution is to take the battery out and don't use it or try to charge it for a few days. Let it completely dry out and it might work but chances are slim. No matter what you hear or read do not place it in the oven, dry it with a hair dryer or even place it in rice. Those things will actually cause more damage to your phone.
