SOURCE: mintex 37 inch wide screen. remote is working however cannot change channel, input source or volum. only turns tv off. The buttone on tv doesnot work connot change input source or volume

Check if the remote is in TV position, that is, because most of the remote controllers have the feature that you can program them for use with another devices. Make shure that one button that says "TV" in pressed and released once before you try to change any function on the TV.

SOURCE: cannot change input source for tv

i would try the abvious first, unplugg the tv from the ac outlet and wait for a few seconds then try turning tv on see if the problem is solved, if not it might be that the key board panel needs replacing.

SOURCE: I can't hook up my dvd player to my quasar model v

You should be able to change the input mode by changing the channel up or down past the regular channels (so channel down 3, 2, 1 > Line > 125 (if cable source) or 69 (TV source).

A replacement remote can be gotten from remotes.com: http://www.remotes.com/remotes/servlet/rs?a=Search&o=c&uid=0&m=VV-1309&uuid=12897739886740 . With the remote, press Action and then enter the menu then choose Input Select and then choose Tuner or Line.

I hope this helps.

What channel on the hci tv can I view my dvd I hooked the red yellow and white jacks into the back of tv but cannot find a channel to view the dvd

You probably need to find a Source or Input button or menu item. Change the source from TV (if that is your current source) to A/V (or composite video). Depending on the model, there may be a source/input button on the TV. There will always be a sourc/input button on the original remote. If you are using a universal remote, you may need to try a different code to get the function to work.

On a few TVs, you can find this in one of the sub-menus. However not all TVs let you change the source in the Menu system.

I hope this helps. Please add a comment with the model of the HCI TV and whether you have the original remote or a universal remote to control the TV if you would like me to find the specific information for your TV.

(For example, the HCI RM22 III remote has the input button on the left side just below the power button.)

Hook up my dvd/vcr player

You probably need to change the input on your tv to match the input you are plugged into. On your remote should have a button that says source or input. With you recorder on switch through until the image comes up.

I bought a bp145 dvd player and when it is hooked up to my lg 32lc5dl tv I get sound but no picture it says no signal how do I fix this

Verify what input source your LG television is on. Using buttons on the tv or the remote you can change the input source. The input you want to choose needs to match the connection type of the dvd player. For example if you are connected using HDMI, than you will want to choose HDMI from the input source menu. There may be more than one HDMI so be sure to try each one.

Have lenoxx ht 500 surround sound speakers & dvd but dvd is broken, need to purchase another dvd player but can't source lenoxx model, what other models can i connect surround sound to? or whe

If your surround sound receiver unit has rca audio inputs(red/white), you can hook up any brand of DVD player that has rca outputs. You would hook the yellow output from DVD player to yellow input on TV. Hook red/white output from DVD player to red/white input on surround receiver. Hope this helps.

Howdo I hook a DVD player up to this model?

The easiest way would be to hook it up using the composite cables from the DVD player to the Rear of the TV.

First safely and slowly turn your TV around you should see inputs in the rear of the TV.

Second identify your composite inputs. They will be visible via the standard RCA Composite colors, which are Red(Audio), White(audio), and Yellow(Video)
Third Once you have found the RCA Composite Inputs, Take the cable which are inserted into the DVD player and Plug it into the TV's Composite Inputs.

Once all that is done, turn on your DVD player. Then using your TV's remote Press the "TV/VCR" / "Source" / "Input" button on your remote till you see video from your dvd player displayed on your TV.

Trying to get my TV can't find manuel or remote

Press the "Input" or "Source" button on the television while you have the DVD player on. Press it repeadly until you see the DVD picture on the screen.

Basically, just try changing the input on the TV to the input that the DVD player is hooked to.

If this doesn't work, you may have to get the original remote, or get a universal remote to control some of the television's features.

I hope this helps :)

Best Regards,

James

I'm confused how to connect my DVD player with the TV. which cables connect where. I dont have a user manual.

Mukhhe,

good day,to connect your DVD to TV screen follow this steps.

1) prepare your RCA cable ( 3 colored cable yellow/red/white)
note: always remember this

yellow = video
red and white = Audio (left and right)

2) at the back or front display of your TV screen you'll see RCA socket marked as "AV1 input" "AV2 input" etc... if your screen is only mono sound you can only see two sockets Yellow=video white= audio

3) at the back of your DVD player connect the RCA cable following the color code yellow to yellow white to white and red to red. after you connect the cable to your dvd player now connect the other end of thr RCA to your TV screen input.

make sure you'll connect it to "A/V input" not "A/V out" then after connecting all the cables, from the remote commander of your TV screen press a button indicating "A/V" some mark as "TV/AV" press this button until your screen display the back ground display of your DVD player.

cheers,
mark
