I cleaned the encoder strip with alcohol and a soft T-shirt. IT fixed it for me.

After replaceing an ink cartriage every time I turn the printer the ink tray slams to one side then all the way back I gert an error message to start it again and slam bam. I hope you can help.

The encoder strip may have come out of the sensor slot. Turn off power, slide cartridge carrier to center, place finger on each side of encoder strip which runs behind the carriage and push the encoder strip down and back up, slightly back and forward if necessary to get it into the sensor slot which is located behind carrier. If it is in slot, sliding the cartridge carrier back and forth to see if therre is movement. If so repeat.

Clear carrier jam is error message

Not that difficult check if behind the carriage(part holding cartridges) has broken off.Its a small plastic latch about 3 inches in length.
If not then try moving the carriage manually with your hand and see if it moves if it doesn't press and hold the power button and while holding the buttons unplug and re-plug the power cable to the printer .Clean the carriage rod with alcohol on a cotton swab/lint free cloth and then see if the problem surfaces if it does then its time to get a new printer

The part that prints goes to right and tries to go further to the right and doesn't print.

Look for a plastic strip where the ink station moves back and forth. It has tiny vertical lines on it which count as the carriage moves. If the strip gets dirty, the carriage may lose count and slam against the far stop. Power off the printer and gently clean the strip with a damp rag. Rub both sides with the rag dampened with water. Then make sure it's dry and see if that doesn't help.

When ever I start to print it sounds like automatic weapon fire. It seems to be coming from the ink cartridges...replaced both of those and still same issue. Help would be greatly appreciated as in this...

It may be that the carriage sensor is either broken or moved out of place. When you power on the printer, it will move the carriage back and forth to find the end sensor. If it doesn't find it, it will slam against the end and cause the sound you're hearing. Look on the side of the cartridge for a tab or ear and make sure that there isn't any obstruction in the carriage path that would impede motion. Also check to see if the sensor isn't out of place.
