Hi, if you are using an extention wire make sure that it is all unrolled. another thing you can try is putting in a higher amp fuse the the plug.

Motor gets Hot

I'm not familiar with the treadmill specifically, but here is some general information that might be helpful. When a motor is under heavier load, it draws more current and therefore gets hotter. If for example, you were able to stop the motor shaft from rotating with an extreme load, it would draw what is called STALL CURRENT which is very high. So the problem seems to be that the load is out of specification. I'm assuming it would probably get hot if it was running with nobody on it as well. That would mean that the drive mechanism driven by the motor is not moving freely. If you can somehow decouple the motor from the treadmill drive system so that it has no load, and then move the mechanism by hand to see if it feels like there is a lot of resistance in the belts, pulleys or whatever drives the treadmill, then you need to lubricate to make it move smoothly. Or if you cannot decouple the motor, just look for all the bearings and pulleys and lubricate those but be careful not to get oil on drive belts or surfaces that require friction such as the surface of the belts or treadmill band. Don't ignore that the motor could get hot enough to start a fire so it is important to resolve this. It is possible that there are shorted windings and the motor is no longer good. If you can decouple the motor and run it no load, and it still gets hot, that would be an indication of such a shorted winding problem. Hope this is a little helpful. G

Tripping breaker that is built in to treadmill

you must isolate the problem. See if there some loose cable or touching with chassis. 3) test the input terminal motor for to see if there are faulty 4) test the output terminal in the control board, for to determine if are faulty. 5) filter capacitor can be shorte 6) power supply shorted.

Smooth fitness treadmill beeps every two minutes

Walk on a treadmill to calculate distance.
Most electronic treadmills allow you to program for an alarm or beep when you've walked a certain distance.
Try to turn off reading your owner manual.
And check if there are some error code?.

If you do not have owner manual go to this web:

and download free.
sincerely.

When I put the key in, the treadmill belt goes really fast. Its like its stuck and I can't turn it down the knob keeps popping off. Do I need to get it serviced.

hi,
You have to check the Driver circuit board for the motor. There is motor control IGBT Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistor) in this board .If the IGBT is short then the treadmill will try to run at high speed without setting any value or witout pressing the start button. You have to check the OHMS between the seocnd and third of lead of the IGBT. If it shows less than 100 Ohms then the IGBT is short and you have to replace the same. Also you have to check the connection to the control pannel. Is there is any loose conatct. Remove the connection in the motor control board which go to the control pannel and reconnect it. Also check the speed sensor. In most of the treadmill you can find the speed sensor near the motor pully. Remove the speed sensor and clean it and the refix it. Remember one thing remove the power of the treadmill and leave it for 30 minutes then only oppen the treadmill. Because there is high voltage storage capacitors in the motor control board which will hold charge for some time even after the power is disconnected. i ahve added the picture of IGBT for your refference

ok
