Question about Toshiba Satellite Pro C650EZ1521 Notebook
Looks like a fixya consultant has already provided you some inputs but I cannot see these.
If there has been a drop then anything could have happened to the laptop.
Please clarify which windows software are you running, eg. XP, Vista or 7 etc?
One possible cause of the messages you are getting is the pc is unable to boot from the hard drive due to some minor damage.
Try to boot from the CD instead. For this you will need either a windows system CD or the Recovery CD that you may have created or received with the laptop.
If you have these, then go to the bios boot sequence when you power on the laptop. You will have to press one of the F keys on the top row. The screen will tell you which one as soon as you power on. Once in the boot sequence menu, select CD as the first boot device.
Put the CD in and power off. Turn power back on and try to see how far the windows boots up. If it goes into repair mode, then the hard drive has some problem. you can let it repair and follow the prompts. Only risk is that you may loose all or some of the data on the disk.

You have a boot error.
Start up your laptop and press F8 as it leaves the Bios Mode, when it asks you about boot information. That will get you into startup mode with the chance of restoring your system.
Follow the prompts as it will lead you into drive "D" where the rescue data is.
In my experience, it is an excellent recovery system and doesn't, unless you have severe hard drive problems, wipe all of your data.
