Your sound drivers are probably not installed. if you can connect to the internet often using windows update will detect this and offer drivers to download, otherwise you will have to go to your motherboard manufactures website and input you model number and download the drivers from there.

I need a sound device for my newly formated pc; Its Microsoft windows XP Professional & im from Philippines...

If you are planning to get a sound device hardware like a PCI card you can choose CMI8738 audio PCI Audio Device may suffice your needs.

If built in on your motherboard use your motherboard installer or manually go to sound device folder to install the driver.

If you don't have the motherboard installer, try its manufacturer's site then choose the exact model number and version, to get the right driver.

Video driver for Windows XP

Actually there are a number of possibilities.
Assuming you have the computer up and running (using a 'generic' video driver like SVGA or XVGA), you can use System Information for Windows (SIW) or Belarc Advisor to identify the video chipset. I would then advise that you go to that manufacturer's website (ATI, GeForce, Intel) and download the latest drivers.

Good Luck!

Have problem with windows Xp pro.

You can get the correct drivers from the Gateway website. Use another computer and download all the Windows XP files for that model number from the website. You need your model number of your pc. Get the files for your motherboard, video, sound card, network card, etc. save them to a usb key or a burn them to a cd. Take the usb key/cd to the other system and load the drivers.

This will get your system back up and running in now time.

I hope this helps you.

Graphic sound problem with cards & motherboard

go to the site of your motherboard brand; like if your motherboard is intel go directly to intel technical support download, there you can download what driver you need for your hardware. you can find the name and model of your motherboard by opening the cover of your pc and look for the model and the number which is located usually on the board itself. good luck!
