Yes, thanks, The AE700E has a bright red line outside the white writing on the right or the writing from on screen as well as red border on the right appears in very sharp images -from experience I would say it requires a color convergence -thanks cheers

Sir,

Procedure:
1) Verify that the projector is positioned the proper distance from the screen by measuring the “C”
or “F” dimension and compare it to the manufacturers specifications. The margin of error allowed in this
measurement is generally 1-2 inches. (In other words, if the installation manual says that the “C” dimension
should be 103” and you place it at 105”, you should still be able to converge the projector.)
2) Verify that the projector is “square” to the screen by measuring the “X” or “Y” dimensions. These should be
within approximately 1” of each other.
3) Make sure that the downward angle of the projector (see the diagrams on the following page) is not too
severe. If your installation is off the charts (pointing down the wall too far) you may have a problem adjusting
the convergence because the controls will run out of range.

No. Changing the bulb will not help.

You can try a hard rest: Unplug your machine for 30 min and replug. If that doesnt work, it looks like the DAM circuit or some other component on your main board is a problem. I would recommend conatacting the manufacturer for a solution. It would be worth your while :)

Hi-

You may need a switch/adapter for this so that you can connect to the projector using a HDMI for HD output-

Buy an HDTV cable for a HD video quality, then a decoder as well, you can buy it from any local computer store/electronic stores. Keep me posted if you have other concerns. Thanks

Try other possible factors, try reseating the bulb if it will help. try hooking it up to a different source using differnt types of cables.

The red and blue projectors aren't aligned with the green projector. It is more sever towards the top of the screen. The green projector also has a curve in it at the top of the screen.

this is called convergence.
the set should normally have a function in the menu to adjust/reset this.
it sound like either the mirror in the tv is warped or the green lamp is out of alignment. if the convergence in the menu doent work then its a service job.

I just replaced the blue projector. How do I set

Coarse adjustment is done by adjusting the convergence coil on the neck of the tube, also the skew is adjusted there. The user menu should have a convergence adjustment option.

Apex 43 inch tv

Convergence is when you aim all three of the projectors, your tv has three, so that the images they produce all line up with each other. This usually doesn't generate a white line across the middle of the screen though, there is a button on the front panel of your set that automatically converges the three projectors, you can try using that.

Convergence problem

As long as you still have your On Screen Display coming up with channel information, it is likely your problem lies in the convergence IC's and possibly a couple of fuses that supply power to the IC's as well. This is assuming that no one has gotten to the inside convergence board and messed with those settings.

Convergence problem

We need a better description of what you mean by shadowing. However I am assuming: 1. You mean it ''bleeds'' off to the right when you have something with a hard red/blue drive. 2. When you turn the contrast and color down a bit it gets better. unfortunatly I cannot tell you how to fix convergence, but I can think of some other possibilities. In this case the red/blue emmision of the crt is dying off and going into saturation when driven hard. To fix, replace with a new picture tube/crt. In some cases you can get a little more life out of that tube (with a watchable picture) by having the screen, focus, cathode bias, and drives slightly readjusted. It will take someone with experience in doing these adjustments on a weak tube to get it looking as good as possible. Given the construction of the cathodes (guns) in that crt, only a very low level crt reactivate should be tried on it. The hard rejuv most crt testers give is highly likley to completely destroy the cathode on that crt.

I've posted this solution several times but here goes. Try setting up the convergence through the menu by accessing the convergence setup menu. If this fails to work you have a bad digital convergence box and need a tech to replace it. About $60 to $100 fix.
