SOURCE: toshiba tv/dvd combo

is there a tiny little hole you can insert a paperclip into around the front of the cd.
if so use a large one if you have it , insert and press hard to eject.
if not then you will need help.
even if you get it out the eject motor belt is likely slipped or broken.

SOURCE: DVD Stuck in TV/DVD Combo

This may not sound technical, but I stuck the end of a paper clip into the opening until I could feel the dvd.....jiggled it a bit, and out it popped while pushing the eject button!!!

Disc will not eject from dvd player

Have you tried both the eject button on the DVD drive and the remote? Is there a disk jammed in the drive? Here is the manual:
http://www.curtisint.com/html/custservice/manuals/PRO_PLEDV1945A_EN.PDF

most of the time there is a small hole near the eject button that you can unbend a paper clip and insert it into that will release the door.

here's a video.. it's a computer, but same principle:

Make sure the device is plugged into the household power supply and is switched on if no indicator lights are illuminated on the control panel. Watch for any power-saving technology that can shut the recorder down when it's not being used. Try the "Power" button again.

Verify that the media you are using is compatible with the device. Most combos record to DVD-RAM/-R/-RW/+R/+RW Discs on the disc side. VHS cassettes can have erasure tabs, so check that the tab is still there if you can't record to the cassette. Watch out for copy-protection technology on either the tape or disc. Often it's indicated on the packaging. Copy protection is designed to stop illegal reproductions, so may block many recordings of copyrighted material.

Connect a television to the "Video Out," "S-Video Out" or "Component Video Out" jacks on the DVD-VCR combo if you can't see video from the combo playing on the television.

Forcibly eject a disc if it is stuck in the combo. Often, manufacturers will create a sequence of buttons to use that accomplishes this. On a Panasonic, you force the combo into "Standby" by pressing "Power" for 10 seconds. Then press and hold "Stop" and the "Channel Up" button together for five seconds, and the disc should eject.

While hitting the eject button use a small flat screwdriver or butter knife to ease door open, probably the rubberband like belt broke or the gears jammed up!

My 1977098v-d6 will not eject

Possiblky the disc has moved even though on a spindle. When you say it will not eject is this using the software asking it to eject if so it will send the instruction to eject but when it finds a problem with the disc the tray will not open. So, get a pin or needle, in the front ogfthe drive will be a tiny hole behind which is the manual release. Stick the needle in the hole and push the manual release the tray should then unclick and you should be able to remove the disc.

My daughter put the blue ray DVD into the Toshiba 14DLV75 instead of the regular DVD and now it won't eject it. It just keeps spinning like it wants to eject, but won't. How can I get it out?

Hello
Just switch OFF the set by its front panel power control switch, and then switch it On and press the eject button without any delay. Sometimes the tray will eject, and try to close. If so switch OFF the front panel power switch, while it is out, and take away the blu-ray disc. the switch it On. All will be ok then.

The DVD player is in constant eject mode - discs will not stay in to play. It has worked perfectly for years. Tonight I was watching a disc, finished, ejected it and put in another and the player just...

Two possible scenarios: First the optical pick up assembly that read the disc has malfunctioned or the eject button is faulty. Either way it is just cheaper to replace the DVD player with a standalone dvd player connected to one the tv input(s). Too expensive to repair just the dvd player if it is tv/dvd combo. The cost for labor and parts is more expensive these days to repair tvs or dvd player. For around $30 you can just replace...much more cost effective.

I can't access the DVD features on my Westinghouse vk-40f580d, I put the dvd in and go to the DVD menu, but wont let me use any dvd controlls, it wont on the remote and tv buttons, AND I cant eject, please...

to eject the disc, turn off your TV and hold the eject button then power TV back on. Regarding the DVD feature not working, you may need to change the main board. If your TV is still in warranty, call 1-800-701-0680 for an in home service.

Says "no disc"

I've found it works after the set has warmed up. I don't know what the problem is. The other thing is I will just keep ejecting - just hit the eject button over and over - open/close etc and after a while it plays. It's REALLY annoying
