Hello

OK, firstly you will need to try to power the laptop on using the power adapter.
If you still get no response whatsoever, you will need to consider the fact that your power supply might be done.

Try to power on the unit using the AC power adapter, if it still doesn't work, let me know, so that we can look into some further scenarios.

Let em know.

Kind regards
Andrea

Why will my vhf radio not respond to on/off switch

Odds are you have a dirty contact. Soft!!!! Touch switches are exactly that. The switchs in a tv remote, microwave oven, calculator or office equipment have this type of swithch. If you find your pushing them harder to activate them, they need cleaned or batteries need replaced. When I worked on copiers (27years) I noticed that only the the slower copiers had keyboard switch problems. I called this the elevator syndrome. You know the more times you push the button the faster the elevator goes? Ultimately this damaged the button resulting in a cracked solider joint . Possibility #2. I have a set of the radios your discribing odds are it's option #2. They force you to hold swithch down until it "boots up" end result cracked solider joint goog luck , brethall610@icloud.com

How do you work 2006 street glide push button key fob

1 long push on the remote turns it on and 2 quick clicks turn it off.
Disarming function may require practice. The key fob button must be pressed twice within 1.5 seconds to send the disarm command. The action is very similar to double-clicking a computer mouse. Light quick taps work best; very hard or very slow taps are less likely to work. The key fob sends a RF signal to activate all remote TSSM functions. The left front turn signal switch wire serves as the vehicle's antenna. If the TSSM does not respond (no confirmation at arming/disarming system) or responds weakly (limited range, won't consistently arm/disarm or synchronize),

Verify key fob battery voltage is at least 2.9 volts. Replace the key fob battery every 2 years.

Interference from physical surroundings may affect RF transmission. Place the fob next to left hand grip and disarm with two clicks or move the motorcycle to a new location and try again.

Check for damage to antenna wire. Does left turn signal work?

After a battery disconnect, the TSSM will not enter the configuration mode on the first attempt. All attempts to assign a fob or enter the configuration mode will require at least two attempts.

The TSSM system uses batteries in the key fob and siren. These are the only parts requiring periodic maintenance.

Battery Replacement
Open the key fob case, place a thin blade between the 2 halves of the case, slowly twist the blade remove and replace battery positive + side down, use a Panasonic 2032 or equivalent, align the case and circuit board, snap the case halves together, while standing next to the motorcycle, press and hold the key fob button for 10 to15 seconds until the security system responds with two turn signal flashes/siren chirps.

My meep tablet is not responding it keeps telling me system ui is not responding I have tried to push the reset button and turning it off and on but it is not working please help

The first answer does not apply as the Meep is not a laptop and does not have a removeable battery. The second response gives a contact number for another tablet.

If the reset button and rebooting are not resolving the problem, then it is considered a hardware issue. You should contact your nearest Oregon Scientific call center. If you are in the USA, that is 800-853-8883 or customerservice@oscientific.com.

Power Button doesn't work

I have a Dell Studio laptop and sometimes some buttons become not responsive, including the power button. As for power button, I noticed that if you hold it for a few seconds, the laptop will turn on (at least in my case). The fix that works for me is as follows:

1. Turn the laptop off;
2. Disconnect the charger and take out the battery;
3. Wait for a few seconds;
4. Open the laptop lid (as you probably closed it while taking out the battery), push the power button and hold it for a few seconds. Nothing will happen as the laptop won't have any power, but it clears some sort of electrostatic load or whatever it's called;
5. Put the battery back in and turn on the laptop.

I used this for a few times, so perhaps it'll help in your case as well.

Try pressing and holding the power button until the computer shuts down.
Also note that when removing the battery, you also need to unplug the power cord in order to shut down the computer in that manner.

Starting / Cranking is a problem: With key ignition, turn; there's a slient buzz noise. Head lights and dash board lights come on, however it doesn't respond to crank. Weak response is battery sometimes...

This could be a battery thats bad and doesnt have enough voltage or the starter is bad, easy to figure out, have the battery tested if its bad then replace it but if it tests good then i would replace the starter and also have the charging system checked to make sure the alternater is charging the battery up. hope this is helpful.

It is new and under warranty. Anything you do inside this laptop will void the warranty. Take it back to where you got it, and get it repaired under warranty.
