Hello, Welcome to FixYa.

There are a couple of scenarios which may prevent the dryer from starting with Bosch.
To save time and back and forth dialog, I`ll mention the most likely and what to do about it.

**Unplug the dryer before attempting any repair tips suggested here first**

There is an auto shut off or emergency kill switch next to the motor which will prevent it to start in the event it was tripped for whatever reason.
This is the most likely scenario in my opinion as it often happens to even trained techs when the unit is re-assembled. there is also a hi-limit overtemp. cut-out ( safety limit switch )...
lint light wont go out and dryer wont run . - macmarkus_58.jpg ...but we'll address that next. This will require you to remove the back panel again though. Once you've remove the rear panel, It will look like this image below and all you need to do is push it to the right ( from the back )... macmarkus_57.jpg Below is an illustration from a Bosch service manual...
i.e. macmarkus_14.jpg
Either Scenario I alluded to will require the removal of that panel so let me know if you require further assistance to do this.

The other would be resetting the hi-limit cut out I alluded to, it can be seen through the back vent opening when the vent is removed and then by pushinlint light wont go out and dryer wont run . - 923283f.jpgutton in...shown below.

Keep me posted how you make out or if anything is not clear.

Thanks for choosing FixYa and good luck.

My dryer was running now it wont restart and the light next to filter is flashing

Most likely a buildup of lint. If you haven't already cleaned the lint filter, do that first. If you have, then remove it and look in the slot that it goes into to see if there is a buildup of lint that has gotten past the filter screen. Use a vacuum with crevice tool to try to clean out this area, or a small brush (even an old toothbrush) to get any lint that may be blocking the sensor and causing the dryer to not work. Unplugging the dryer, waiting 30 seconds and then reconnecting, should re-set this error.

Electric dryer wont run

what's the model number, first thing to check is the door switch,if the switch is bad or broke some have a paddle on them that can snap off if door is closed to hard or dryer hasn't been cleaned out and one of the thermostats or thermal fuse is popped because the lint is blocking the air movement and dryer got to hot and as a safety the t-stat or fuse pops.

Check filter light wont shut off and setting.lg tromm dryer

You might need to check the exhaust on the rear of the Dryer, or the blower motor iether one has lint inside, restricting the air flow

My dryer check lint screen light continues to blink and the dryer wont work even after cleaning lint screen

Airflow through the dryer vent is restricted. Blow through the filter opening with a reversed vaccum cleaned. Set it BLOW instead of **** usually by putting the hose on the exhaust end.

Dryer wont start

Push on the door switch and make sure the light goes out. When the light goes out, a contact should be made to allow the motor to run. If you can get to the timer, spray a good electronic contact cleaner inside while rotating the dial. While you have the unit open, vacuum out all the lint, and check for loose wires, especially to the door switch.

Dryer wont run

Remove the rear cover and replace the skinny white fuse mounted on the blower housing after you have cleaned out the lint from the dryer. (unless you like to keep buying and replacing them)

Hotpoint dryer

Completely disassemble your vent from the dryer to where it exits the building. Clean out all lint. Disconnect the dryer from the electrical service and check for lint build up inside the machine. This lint build up usually makes the motor shut down on it thermal overload. Check the motor also to see if the air vents on it are blocked with lint. If no lint is present, the motor or the start relay need to be replaced.

The check filter light is just a reminder light and cannot be reset.  Nothing to worry about.  Just keep the filter clean before each use.
