Check the wiring harness, I am told the older models have issue with the newer higher wattage bulbs and the wires fuse together - mine did

My Chrysler 300C left headlight low beam won't light up . I've brought new bulbs and still the left low beam light did not glow! I swapped bulbs around and the left bulb that wasn't working now glowed in...

Check the socket or connections that supply power to the bulb Sometimes the contacts can become corroded. Also, a loose or corroded ground wire can cause a bulb to not work or glow dimly.

Passenger side low beam doesn't work. Notice bulb is out. Replaced bulb but still doesn't work. High beam works fine. No problem with driver side. Is there a fuse for the left side?

No you must have a wiring problem if the bulb is good. You can test the bulb out of the car. Do not touch any halogen type bulb with your bare skin.

1998 Isuzu rodeo headlights not working. changed fuses, and bulbs , still not working

What does tried mean ?

You could not figure out if a fuse had failed?

You tested no fuses & replaced perfectly good ones?

You replaced head light lamps & did not test the old ones?

If the cable from the battery to the starter was an issue
Would you not have checked that?

If it was an issue, then the vehicle most likely wouldn't start

Not really telling us anything that was tested

Your asking for a guess to what?

Check for power and ground at the headlight plug. Test lights are cheap.

Both low beams (HID) are out. dealer says both

I actually have been dealing with this problem with my 2007 Mazda Cx-7 since I bought the car a little over a year ago with only 33,000 miles...its rediculous! I brought it to Mazda once before the warranty ran out and they told me it was fine, again after my warranty was over they told me it would cost $375 to order and replace the HID bulb..instead I bought the bulb off of for $80 and the bulb still did the same thing.... Finally brough it back to Mazda the diagnosis cost me $163.07 for them to tell me that my "Headlight Module" was out and it would be over an $800 fix! In your case if both of them are doing that it would be twice that! Mazda finally paid for the majority of it but won't return my $163.07 even though I told them there was a problem when I first bought the car!!!! In today's economy who has that much money to be throwing around trying to figure out whats wrong with the DEFECTED PARTS that Mazda places in its vehicles???!!! Good Luck!

My headlights will not light up. the fuses in the

it's likely the headlight bulbs themselves need replacement.if high beams work but not low beams, suspect bulbs.if neither work, suspect switch, then wiring.

Headlight does not work. Not the bulbs. I have a 2006 Chevy Colorado and the passenger side headlamps went out. I replaced the bulbs which looked good (filaments where not broken) but the lamps are still...

Believe it or not you've actually got a fuse for the left and right headlight individually. Check both of these and also You've got a power control center under the hood(drivers side and I "think" another either behind the drivers seat or ucer the dash, and these fuses and relays are often repeated in both power centers(fuse and relay boxes). Grab your owners manual, which now is thicker than the King James bible, and begin your search. Also make sure,if it has one, that the ground from the headlight on that side , is good. Good luck my friend, Dana
