Hi

Is the sound and audio device listed in device manager at all??

if it isnt then while device manager is open go to the top op the page almost in the middle and hover over the icons there and one of them should say scan for hardware changes and maybe this will let windows re install it for you

if it is then does it have a yellow or orange warning beside it if so it will be saying that there is a problem with it double click it to go into the properties go to the driver

try to update it if that fails or windows says that it is up to date then uninstall it then restart your computer and hopefully windows will reload the driver on startup and fix the problem

hope this helps you

Hi , You can find your sound card type through online scanner. http://www.computerdriverfinder.com/msi/msi-motherboard-driver.php and after knowing the details of motherboard you can download it from their respective sites.. if ur company is a branded u can directly download from ur pc company site.

if your computer came with a motherboard disc the sound drivers could be on it
you might have to uninstall then reinstall both the sound drivers and the sound card make sure you have both of these devices backed up to a disc before uninstalling
a yellow? question mark means you need to install/update driver to do this
right click to install driver also
click start control panel administrive tools computer management device manager scroll to sound, video and game controllers you might see a yellow question mark? Right click to reinstall drivers
click start control panel sounds and audio, volume, advanced, speakers select appropriate speakers also audio you will find 3 drop down lists make sure you have made the correct adjustments there

click start control panel sounds and audio devices you can adjust the volume there also select speaker volume you can make adjustments there you can also tick in the box place icon in taskbar
hope this helps
